The pool is great and only one day did we struggle to fe a lounger. The rooms are basic and tired - much like the staff and the food! Breakfast was ok but not very Brit friendly - boiled eggs and spam and lota of croissants but did the job ! Recommend if you want somewhere cheap and to lie... More

I called them to anticipate the booking of one day, and I realize that the guy on the phone was able to say just few word in english and did not understand anything. We stayed 5 nights in Hotel Golden Tulip Farah in Marakesh. We found most of the staff very friendly & helpful. However information for excursions etc were not available freely. When we asked for information they did give it to us. The excusions booked did not have airconditioned busses, taking us.at 41C this wasa little difficult, as some of the windows could not... More

Probably a little cramped if staying for more than a few days. Despite this the atmosphere, location and food were very good and not excessively expensive considering its standard. Bedrooms are small, but comfortable, but be prepared to be awakened early with the call to prayer from the Mosque. A good place to stay and explore this wonderful city and... More

I stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel whilst on a group tour with Encounters Travel. The hotel was in a great location and was very clean. The staff were very friendly and the pool and garden were just amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and Encounters Travel.

The hotel is good in location, the pool and the garden are both very relaxing. The rooms definitely need renovation but overall; when you are in Marrakech, a hotel room is not meant for spending time in, right? - Try not to call a taxi at the hotel; they overcharge. Walk out, turn right and walk 100 meters, more taxies... More

I stayed at this Hotel last summer 2011 and the rooms were clean but average sized with balcony. The staff were freindly but it is a bit pricey and expensive. I did not like the location the nearest food shop was 5-10mins. The El Jem Efna sqare medina where the market is at least 20-30mins walk away. Next time I... More

After a grim escape from a horrendous riad, we were delighted to be welcomed in this friendly hotel. The staff were friendly. The hotel was set in beautiful lush gardens, a pleasant swimmingpool. In the evenings a delicious open buffet with lots of local delicacies. After our initial bad riad experience, this hotel made our Marrakech experience worthwhile with a... More

Well, it is definitely not a four star hotel. The room was small and the balcony was so little that we had to go out there one person at a time. The staff were not friendly at all, and breakfast was very poor. Moreover, the price was a rip-off and breakfast was NOT included. On the other hand, there were... More

I chose this hotel because of its location - close to the start and finish of the Marrakech Marathon which I ran last week. The hotel is very good standing in it´s own beautiful gardens with very friendly and attentive staff. There is also a hammam and range of masage and other beauty treatments available. It was too cold to uise... More
