My wife and I stay one month in Morocco mid November to mid December and had planned to use Marrakesh as our home base and discover different hotels in town. Search no more after staying at riad Opera, we changed our mind and decided to use this riad as our home base between trip, as we fell in love with... More

We really don't understand all these positive feedbacks. We were there in December 2012 and me and my family thought it was very unclean. The house felt extremely cold, while it was 24 degrees outside. The rooms were dark and dirty. The shower hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I talked the owner about this on the phone. And... More

These were unusual clients who were bound and determined to extract a super-low deal on their stay during the busiest season of the year with their false "complaints." Before they had even visited the entire Riad, Madame called me to tell me that "the riad was not fresh enough for my baby". I expressed my concern and surprise. Indeed, we... More

From the initial warm welcoming to help with our exit, our family loved every minute of our time in Riad Opera. There are four bedrooms and we took all of them. We ate dinner each night on the rooftop terrace and enjoyed sunsets in the lounge chairs. Taxi's are a 5 minute walk, groceries around the corner, and Jamaa El... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Riad Opera for 4 nights in March 2011. Fabulous location, right in the thick of the action. Step outside and you are straight into the riot of colour and noise of the souks. Step back in and silence descends, day or night – it’s another world. I never thought that Marrakesh was going to... My husband and I spent 3 weeks at Riad Opera in Marrakech in March of this year. We were thoroughly delighted with our experience. The Riad is a lovely old Moroccan home built around a plant-filled courtyard. Our room was extremely comfortable with wonderful light coming through the windows. The bathroom was spacious with a very good shower. The salon... More

We really loved this beautiful, comfortable and very authentic little Riad. We spent there 6 nights, 2 adults and 3 teenage boys, and enjoyed everything: Beautiful rooms, a very nice living room with plenty of books and CDs, marvellous breakfast, very nice people, a great court and a terrass offering great view over the roofs and allowing sun bathing. This... More

The Riad Opera is truly a gem, tucked away within the lively and beautiful Souk market center of Marrakech. The decor is at once authentic Moroccan and modern chic. This Riad gives the sense of serenity and luxury with the convenience of central location. Service was impeccable, and each of the guest rooms are inviting and gorgeous. Honestly, this place... More

Riad Opera (Dar Katib to everyone in Marrkech) is a great value riad in the perfect position just outside the souks. There isn't a lot of english spoken here, but it helps you to improve your french! The rooms are all decorated nicely and the tile work in the courtyard is authentically pleasing if you are looking for a traditional... More

Nothing special about this hotel. Rooms are nice, especially those with a view on the pool. But then the breakfast is minimal and there is no wireless in the room (only in the lobby or in some other locations). My bathroom wasn't really modern. Some construction going on nearby...
