Room is basic, and decent. It is steps away from the train station and a 5 minute petit taxi ride from the touristic sights in town. My room smelled musty and was cold. My friends were checked into a room with someone else's hairs on their pillow and the towels were damp. The staff apologized and gave her a new... More

Lovely deco and staff, very attentive and our driver Janati Abdelhay was wonderful for the day trip we took to the middle atlas area. The manager Maid spoke perfect English and was a huge help with everything we needed for our visit.Meknes is a wonderful place to visit. The rooms are very clean and the water hot.

The Place An Art Deco gem in one of the main streets of Mèknes' Ville Nouvelle. Architecture lovers will die with the stairs, corridors and rooms in all-original conditions that give to the hotel that special feeling of atemporal elegance. The kind of place that once was clearly the best hotel in town, lost its position but still remained with... More

I loved this hotel and regret that I did not spend more time in Meknes so that I could have stayed here longer. It is a minute from the train station and very affordable. I prefer vintage hotels with old craftsmanship and character. The Majestic takes you back to the 1930s and feels like an old movie. There is no... More

Well-preserved deco architecture. Friendly staff & they can arrange local tours. Breakfast is filling - the breakfast room has lot of traditional architecture elements. The best thing that i liked about it was the proximity to train station. Just walk to your room! Some of the rooms can be noisy due to street traffic.

The hotel is quite near one of the train stations of Meknes, so it is really convenient to get there from the train station. There are signs to make it easier for you to find the hotel which is also a great help, particularly if you arrive at night. The staff is helpful - they easily speak French or Spanish,... More

Quite nice hotel, very close to the train station, so if you arrive to Meknes by train you don't have to walk far with your rucksack. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with shower is all you need when travelling across Morocco. Breakfast is included in price but don't expect more than 3 slices of bread, butter and some jam. To get... More

Recommended overall. I stayed here for seven nights in March 2011, as a sixty-five-year-old Briton travelling alone. I had a first floor room with private toilet, shower and washbasin room en-suite. .271 dirhams for first night and 250 thereafter - cash only .clean throughout, well-maintained, with good standard of decoration and furniture. .friendly helpful staff. .two minutes walk from Meknes... The hotel was only ok. The rooms themselves are nice and fairly large, although unless you get an inside (no windows) room, it can be fairly noisy at night. The hotel is located near the train station in Ville Nouveau, and similar to the Ville Nouveau's in Marrakesh and Fes, there are tons of restaurants and nightlife, but none of... More
