An adequate business hotel in Rabat, not your 5 star western chain, but a 'local' of reasonable standard. You could say the place was dated and a bit tired, but that would be harsh. Wi Fi was Ok once one understood how to get it going. Staff generally helpful and restaurant OK.

Arrived rather later than planned with my three colleagues and the staff made us very welcome. With its period Moroccan architecture, the hotel has a lovely feel, spacious rooms, and is clean and respectable. Breakfast is plentiful and pleasant, and the food in the restaurant is to be recommended, though there are several other good restaurants within easy walking distance.... More

The Soundouss is coveniently located to federal Ministry buildings and a decent shopping area. It is about 4 km from the old Medina and downtown shopping areas. The property is very clean and well maintained, with a nice sitting area off the main foyer and a decent (but smoky) bar snugged away up a "secret" stairway. My room was small... More

I'll admit this is not the lap of luxury, but the architecture and proximity to my local office made it worthwhile. The building itself is very neat. The big downside is the internet. It never worked in my room but always the lobby. After a little snooping I discovered that they placed the wireless units on shelves high up in... More

Soundouss has a beautiful period look with an Art Deco entry, sweeping staircase, old tile floors and lots of potential to be a really superb hotel. I've stayed three times for business, in January, February and April 2010. I stayed the second and third times purely because its location is very convenient for my work. First, the expensive internet has... More

If you travel to Rabat before the weather gets warm, don't count on having heat to keep you warm. Also, don't come here expecting the staff to care about taking care of any of your needs. Very nonchalant attitude about getting things done around here. We checked in on Tuesday and asked for a working safe in one of the... More

Lovely moroccan style room and foyer, was impressed the moment we walked in, Serene and very relaxing stay. Best breaky fresh yummy fruit salad, pepper encrusted chicken slices, moroccan soup with roti. Good location for a easy walk down the road for a lunch or dinner. Helpful and friendly service.
