I have stayed at the Sea Cliff for the months of March and April and May and returned home once a month for a week. The Hotel staff are outstanding.I know nearly all of their names and they all know mine and i get treated as "Family". My room is always booked for my return visit, even when checking in at... More

Overall a very good hotel to stay in Dar es Salaam - good location on sea, rooms very comfortable, restaurants and food good, service friendly and good. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful greem oasis away from dusty noisy downtown - the grounds and ocean views are really nice. Spacious rooms and good service. Be sure to visit the shopping area adjacent for souvenirs, eating options and a grocery store!

Great hotel with fantastic staff and amazing views. But no hot water! I stayed there 5 days in May 2012, and I never had a hot shower. I told management every day, and every day they said they would fix it and they never did. So disappointing -- I'd like to stay there in future (and I have a lot... More

I stayed at Sea Cliff recently on a trip around Tanzania.the hotel is beautifully located on the sea. The service was good, staff polite and helpful. The 2 restaurants both have sea views. The Karambezi restaurant is perched on the rocks over the water and is mostly open to the sky. There is shade, with fans. I was disappointed in... More

I was in Dar es Salaam for 10 days on Business. The Hotel is a very safe and comfortable. The food is fantastic and the grounds very beautiful. The price of the hotel is a worth what you get. The pool was fantastic the views just smashing. The casino was small but on the grounds and really nice to visit... More

My most recent stay in the Hotel Sea Cliff is probably my 8th or 10th or 12th over the past 3 years. It is always a pleasure. I am not too sure whether this is because of the hotel itself and its lovely setting or whether it is because on each visit to Dar es Salaam I have the chance... More

How lovely to read your review and hear that you always enjoy your stay with us. It means so much when friends and family come to visit when you're living abroad so I'm sure your sister and her husband spoil you too. You mentioned that our managment team has changed but it is just our Front Office Manager. The rest... More

I was in Dar on business in September, and stayed at Sea Cliff for a week. This is a nice hotel that sits right on the Indian Ocean. Overall, the room was nice, though it did not have much of a view. The bed was very comfy. The only complaints I had were the shower did not have a closure... More

Many thanks for your feedback. We would very much like to find out which room you stayed in so we can check the shower. If you didn't report this to Maintenance during your stay, could you email us on information@hotelseacliff.com so that we can take action? We do understand your feelings on insecticide. However, because we are in a tropical... More

I stayed here in February and really enjoyed my stay. I was able to try a couple near-by restaurants and they are all part of the hotel so you could charge to the room. Breakfasts were good, staff was always friendly. Water never got hot, just barely warm. I asked for maintenance and they did check it but water was... More

Thank you for your review. It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and tried some of the restaurants in Sea Cliff Village shopping centre next door. I'm sorry to hear about the hot water though. Maintenance had logged this issue and we have since started running the burner for an extra 2 hours per day to ensure... More

I spent 2 separate nights at the Sea Cliff 4 days apart and would recommend this hotel. We were late arrivals both nights - Precision Air only allowing us to arrive around 330am the one time. The staff were welcoming and accommodating both times. The first night was a normal room on the 2nd floor and the subsequent night was... More
