Good rate, good food, very nice people, clean rooms and good service, business centre flexible opening hour and helpful staff. not too far from city centre if you need to meet people for work. I did not try the pool but it looks nice. I love the whole atrium idea, with the open courtyard style.

Protea has been running a discounted rate that makes it really good value for money. Nice rooms, good looking pool, and reasonable food though the breakfast is a bit bland. Internet works well.

Just back in Holland from a trip to Dar es Salaam. I stayed in the Protea Coutyard Hotel, and apart from an old couple of batteries in the automatic doorlock (which were changed quickly), the hotel was a pleasure. Service great and breakfast, bar and dinner fantastic. Very pleasant staff too. Price/value: excellent
