Le diplomat hotel is the good hotel if you compared it to other hotels in the city. Rooms are good and large, but the forniture are very old, anyway the bathroom are more modern. the street-area is a bit depressing and dirty, but not much more than other areas of the city. the staff are very attentive and helpful.

Great location out of the hustle and bustle of it all, but near enough not to miss anything. Only a few minutes walk to the Medina and shops. Food - not very good. A bit basic, quality of produce poor and lacked variety. You can get better out and about in the surrounding area. Hotel - fairly clean (though this... More

This is a typical 'upmarket' Tunis hotel - with most of the quirks that you'd expect. The location is good - to the northwest of the central downtown area (Centre Ville) and just 15 minutes (colorful) walk to the Place de la Victoire at the entrance to the Medina. It was 10 mins walk to the shops on Ave de... More

I came to Tunis for work, and spent my first night in Tunisia at this hotel. It was memorable, mostly for the wrong reasons. In fact, it was crazy as hell. While the hotel was clean, there were some problems with electricity and with the plumbing. I had to change rooms because the toilet was not working. The cleaning staff... More

attractuve lobby area and bedroom large and clean although it did smell of smoke. walls paper thin but we had a god night's sleep. breakfast was very poor - croissants, cereal or egg but this is standard in tunisia. impressive bar area on the mezzanine but very smoky! excellent free wifi. we will return!

Very Run down hotel but clean. Also free and fast wifi. But entire hotel needs a lot of renovation and also to improve food. Ok place for a couple of nights if on business.

The room is great. Marble floor, nice comfortable bed, and clean. I will stay in that hotel again with my baby and my husband. THE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE but it is a very poor, cheap boring breakfast. I paid $633 for 2,5 weeks for 2 people regular room. Watch out for the young arab (35/ 40 year... More

I stayed in this hotel just for 1 night, included in a package that contained a circuit to the south of Tunisia and a beach stay in Yasmine Hammamet. I consider it a good hotel for 1 night before starting a circuit through Tunisia. In a leisure trip I don't see the reason why you should stay more than 1... More
