I started off on the wrong foot with this place as our itinerary stated we were supposed to stay someplace different (and much nicer) and the overlanding company pulled a switcheroo on us. Also, the overland tour company again booked a twin for my husband and I even though there were double rooms available that ended up going to singles.... More

We stayed 2 times at the Adventure Lodge. The first time we arrived with a Nomad Truck and slept 3 nights in the Lodge. Our room was clean and we didn't have any problems. The staff was helpful and they gave us some good advices for our next journey. We left some luggage in the lodge what was no problem... More

Dear Chiragk1 Again, it is clear you and the prior reviewer were travelling together and thus are acting extremely vindictively over the issue we ended up resolving in a fair manner. Our payment polices are clearly stated as follows: CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund If cancellation 15 days or less before date of travel 50% refund If cancellation between 15 -... More

Upon arrival at adventure lodge, the place looked shabby and dilapidated. The rooms are so small you can't turn around in them. The bed had dirty stained sheets and an old faded duvet sheet. The cupboard doors are broken along with the "sliding" toilet door which was unable to be pushed closed. The TV set was situated on the left... More

Dear Asma As per our meeting, it is good to see you keeping to your word, I believe we treated your case very fairly, by only charging 50% of your first night here due to the rooms not being to your standard, I recommend you research where you stay in the future so as to avoid other establishments being subjected... Like other reviewers, I arrived here on the last day of an overland group tour. I sat through half of the "activities sales pitch" before getting up and requesting my room key (why Nomad subjects their clients to these sales pitches is mind boggling...at least this one wasn't as bad as the one in Swakopmund where I was told to... We arrived here as part of a 3week camping tour with nomad adventures for our last night. We had also booked an additional night stay before flying to Tanzania. It cost $88 us for our extra night which we found to be a total rip off. We weren't happy with the exceptionally slow and poor service at both the front... More

Dear Bec Thanks for your review on our budget accommodation. I feel it only right that I must respond to your comments. Firstly, you arrived on a truck, which came into the Hotel well before our check in time hence not being ready for you, the usual check in is 14h00, so our staff were running around trying to get... Basic, very basic, and totally overpriced for what you are paying for. Of the four nights we stayed there, they only cleaned our room once. Pathetic. They were also unable to tell us if our rooms were actually ours due to the fact they had overbooked or quite frankly had no idea what they were doing.

Dear Blaine, I am really sorry that you had a bad experience, but please may I remind you that you were booked into our campsite and we were trying to find you a room in our BUDGET Hotel section which was already fully booked since prior to the 15th December, so to write that we did not know what we... This place is suitable for backpackers travellers and groups of young people. The rooms are small, old and the bathroom always flood when you shower. The cleaning is not great, and if you go to breakfast after 08h00am you will eat cold food. There is no juices on breakfast besides typical juice that you mix with water- mazoe. The TV... More

Just loved Adventure lodge. If you are someone who likes a quiet environment where you mix with people from all over the world, i recommend Adventure lodge. You can get all you packages on one place, be it white water rafting, night game cruise, helicopter rides above the Zambezi, sunset cruises then you will be at the right place
