The Hotel is VERY run down, service is slow, staff are fairly friendly. Food is average. Great swimmingpool, BUT probably the hotel located closest to the Victoria Falls = Walking Distance.

A lovely hotel with good rooms and good service as well. The scene at the hotel is natural and artistic and very attractive as well. The have a variety of food for their dinner and entertainment from the African dance groups
Trickling waterfalls, pools that must have fish to attract kingfishers and other birds to the trees and rocks: this is what make this hotel special. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying nature - in a major hotel. Rooms are nice but unremarkable. Prices in Victoria Falls have no connection to reality but even so the uninspired breakfast or dinner...

A nice surprise!
We were welcomed with a lovely fruit juice and shown to our room.
It is a bit of a maze to get to the rooms. There is an adjacent casino (with no atmosphere).
Mosquito nets were provided on request. Dinner was US$27 pp, with extortionate prices for wine. Traditional dancers and music kept diners entertained and added...

A centrally located hotel, in a style which could remind you a little of Sun City's Lost Palace. A welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch. The evening buffet dinner at $27US was good value with some good choices, but the same price for buffet breakfast seemed very steep. We overheard other guests saying that the food at the...

Well maintained rooms, lots of fresh air outside beautiful gardens, a variety of good restaurants within the hotel, the breakfast is very good
I read some of the comments before staying at the Kingdom, most negative about the money only acceptable in US$ and to change small amount only as the refund is in the local currency etc.. My experience was the opposite. Everywhere in Zimbabwe they now use US$ as their local currency, and we have no issues to get our change...

Beautiful grounds, walking distance to falls, great ambiance, friendly staff. Beds hard but some people like that. Food was adequate at buffets. Note they have policy that you can't charge to your room, everything has to be paid separately. Not a big deal, but can be unclear. Phenomenal location, recommend this hotel! Take the Zambezi sunset cruise. And don't miss...

We stayed at The Kingdom for 3 nights while on a visit to Vic Falls. The hotel itself is beautiful. The finishes and furniture and the staff was very friendly. Our bathroom although clean looked like it could use some silicone on the edges and perhaps some new tiles. We only had breakfast there and from the breakfast meals we...
