I stayed here for three nights in May 2012 and found it everything I wanted it to be. The staff were helpful, rooms were clean, the restaurant always had plenty of food, a gym and swimming pool. Security is high on their agenda with cars being checked before they arrive at the entrance and an airport style walk through detection... More

I stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks. It is a modern structure, perhaps 3 to 5 years old. The hotel is very poorly managed. There are no expatriate staff employed to provide training and development to the Libyan workers, and as a result, the quality and consistency of service varies wildly from day to day, mostly towards unacceptable. Because... More

I needed a centrally located hotel and given the recent events in Libya, one with reasonable security. I got both of these at the Radisson Blu, and have to say that the service, food and room were also all of a high standard. Cars are checked before they can approach the entrance, and the security staff do seem to pay... More

At this time after the Libyan revolution success, this could be the best hotel you can stay in Tripoli. But the hotel does not match its standard globally. I don't feel secure when the security at the gate are not tight in these circumstances. The staff needs lots of training, and it seems they are short of them anyway. The... More

The hotel is presently managed by a Turkish company and the staff is a mix of locals and expats from various countries. Generally the service is good. Only a buffet is offered at breakfast/lunch/dinner but the quality of the food and variety of choices is good. Considering we're talking about Tripoli right after the civil war the hotel offers good... More

Even though the revolution is all but over, it has to be said that all members of the Raddison Blu in Tripoli have strived to succeed under difficult times. Their attention to detail and excellent service throughout is testement to not only the staffs endeavours to ensure a high degree of normality for guest's but also to the Management of... More

OK, so I'm a news cameraman and we arrived at the hotel only a few days after Gadaffi had fled Tripoli. There was only a handful of staff to run the place but they did their best to get us rooms and check us in. There was no running water for a few days (anywhere in Tripoli) but the hotel... More

I stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. Pros: the hotel is brand new as it seems to have been recently renovated with very nice rooms with flat screens and a modern design. As I was on business I took a business class room which was nice and spacey and also gave access... More
