I stayed here week February 2013, I stayed in main part of hotel, very clean hotel everything working, extremely comfortable room. The hotel staff / management very helpful and attentive. Service and food excellent. Definitely stay here again, good location, beautiful courtyard with pool for swimming.

The hotel itself was pleasant. Relatively clean, nice courtyard, decent location. But the management is so poor. When we checked in, there was no one to greet us. We didn't know what to do or where to go, until our taxi driver finally found someone to let us into a room. There are tons of people milling around, coming and... More

We stayed for 2 nights during the 'Touareg Trail', a 4.000 km raid trough West Africa for Citroën 2CV's Our room was in the annex, 100 m down the street. The room was simple, but clean. The remote for the airconditioning did not work, but a piece of duck tape did the job. Breakfast is rather simple, and the coffee... More

After having spent over a year staying in budget hotels in Africa, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. I stayed in the Annex down the street from the main hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything was in good shape. I did have a problem with the toilet, but they called a plumber and... More

Free internet, pool, nice garden and satisfactory location. Restaurant in garden was relaxing. My room in main hotel was a bit dark. Travel companions complained of noise in room from nearby bar. Bla Bla Restaurant across street had better food value. Bamako is a different place and thus difficult to rate hotel. During 5 weeks in Mali, Niger, Chad and... More

This Hotel has a quite and charming garden with pool, where to rest after strolling around in Bamako's crazy streets. Bar service not great but acceptable for this hotel category. Breakfast was simple but really good. The rooms: our was in the main building; it was simply but nicely decorated really large and fairly cleaned, the bed was comfortable. Air... More

A good place to stay, with a nice garden and swing pool. Not far from the city center

Horrible and very rude service by the front desk. All of them, absolutely no smiles just bad looks. They tried to put us in one of their rooms not connected to the hotel. It was about 200 yards from the actual hotel in a dreary, grimy shack of a place. They are overpriced and WILL try to cheat you as... More

Bamako is a big bustling city that is hot noisy and polluted - Hotel Tamana is the antidote. This really is a great place to stay; the rooms (especially in the main hotel) are clean, cool and pleasant; the location is excellent (a good taste of Bamako's nightlife is on the same street); the atmosphere is great; the staff are... Hotle Tamana is fairly overprized for the dark and moldy rooms and the uncomfortable beds. On the plus side - they have a nice garden and a cute little pool.
