This is an incredibly beautiful hotel property, particularly the outdoor seating area around the bar and pool. It offers an incredible view of the city. It's also a great place to be at the end of the day when they fire up the BBQ. They have, without a doubt, the best fish brochettes I've ever had. Nicely seasoned and marinated... More

My first business trip to Kigali left me "gob smacked" - spotlessly clean, I salute the PRESIDENT for his initiative. Hotel Des Mille Collines was first world, so it should be, being Belgium owned. My lunch was at rand 65 unbelieveable- schnitsel & fresh steamed vegetables + a wonderful mushroom sauce. I could have been in Europe. at E160 B/B... More

The hotel was acceptable. Clean and modern. The view from the restaurant was lovely. Food selection was good for dinner and the food was good. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Pool area is nice and they have a great pool lounge to relax after a busy day. This is more of a standard business hotel. I thought they might have... More

I travel to Rwanda often and decided to save a few dollars and stay at Mille Colline as opposed to Hotel Serena . . . and I am actually in the middle of my stay now! I have been pleasantly surprised at the rooms, the cleanliness, and the over room accommodations. Limited television selection but that isn't surprising in Rwanda... More

We stayed at Mille Collines on our way to Musanze (to see the Gorillas). We were quite happy with the service and its location. The hotel was centrally located and we were able to walk about town. The views over the surrounding hills is fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a night because of the history of the place and everywhere I have read says it is a must visit. I was actually very disappointed in it. Don't get me wrong it is a typical business hotel of a good standard. The staff are friendly and the pool looks good - although it may make you... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in May 2012. The best feature of the hotel for me was the breakfast at the Panorama restaurant. The view was amazing and the food was plenty... with fruit, eggs, croissants, etc. I particularly liked their passionfruit juice! The staff was very friendly and helpful - although they were not super fast... More

We stayed one night at this elegant and modern hotel. The hotel staff were very professional and provided great service. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We ate a delicious lunch on the patio tables near the pool. The large pool area is very nice with lounge chairs and towels provided. The outside bar area is spacious and covered with... More

My first room had a musty smell and for that I've knocked off a star. Second room, on a different night was fine. Otherwise perfectly fine choice, though not a 5 star place. Lovely breakfast buffet, beautiful view from the 4t5h floor restaurant, excellent dinner. Service was top notch. No other complaints at all. Can't say the rooms are top... More

A great hotel in Kigali, worth going for the splendid view at the restorant. We stayed there one night before going to see the Gorrilas up north of Rwanda and where quite pleased. On the + side: - Great view on Kigali - Nice pool and bar - Great food/restorant with view on the city; I highly recommend going at... More
