Beautiful, clean, well-decorated rooms set in a lovely little garden just near Yak Restaurant. It's easy to miss, look for the little red circular sign with a sun on it. I stayed in cafe Mitra for 4 nights and I really enjoyed it. I had a very nice and clean room, good breakfast and the staf was very helpfull.
They even had a hot shower also when there was no power ( which is a big problem in Nepal).
The only thing is that the bed was really too hard...

Very nice and cosy bed and breakfast, secluded in a pleasant courtyard/garden, a soothing distance from noisy, delirious Thamel Rd. But not further away than a few steps, and you are back in the action again.
The rooms are spacious (at least 2 of them which we tried - 1 is very small), and clean, and the breakfast is good...

Very clean and cosy rooms. Although in busy Thamel, it is a quiet place. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good vLue for money. Do not miss it!
