I was on a 2 week group travel throughout India and Nepal. This was our last hotel and in my opinion the BEST! We were greeted with delicious drinks in the lobby until our room keys were ready. We were given our room keys and when we went to our double bedroom we were greeted with a surprise. We had... More

The most striking feature of the hotel is its stunning architecture and spectacular entrance. It also has a wonderful view of the Boudhanath stupa. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food is overall very good, with a great breakfast buffet. Our only issue was with the service- pleasant, but extremely slow. Whether at the desk, bar, restaurant or... More

If looking for a good quality hotel for business purposes or a holiday, this is a safe bet at reasonable prices by international standards. Ample grounds and facilities. Good restaurants of some variety. Secure. Can walk to some attractions, but inevitably you will need access to a car service. You would need a death wish to drive yourself.

After 14-day trekking to Everest Base camp, I decided to pamper myself for two nights at the Hyatt Regency. Love the exterior of the property; expansive ground and lobby, with ethnic touches and decorations. More in the evening, almost magical with candle lights that lit up the entire hotel. I stayed at the club floor, spacious room and bed was... More

a oasis from the city hotel: the hotel is around a 15 minute drive from the airport and a taxi will take you there for 500 rupees. You  can exchange money at the counter once you exit immigrations. A visa on arrival to enter the country is 25 dollars and you need 1 passport  photo. the visa took only a... More

We had one night here, arriving late afternoon, and leaving early morning. The room was comfortable, if a bit dated, and had a good view of the stupa. We had a surprisingly good meal in the restaurant, served quickly, in pleasant surroundings.Breakfast was also good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is near the Airport ,so very convenient.Quite satisfactory.

I was in the hotel for a workshop. I was not involved in the organisation so can't comment on that but the room we had for the 4 days was excellent if a little hard to find, the drinks and snack provided great (5 or more types of tea for a start) and the staff there excellent. We split into... More

Nice facilities, very comfortable room, lovely views & great bar with excellent music. We were very lucky to get there as Kingfisher Airlines cancelled our flight days before by a pathetic email to us in New Zealand no explanation, no offer of any kind & still NO REFUND would never fly this airline again & I warn you they are... This is a beautiful property in frenetic city. You will LOVE to begin and end your exploring here each day! The hotel is walking distance to the second largest stupa in the world. The hotel is beautiful --- but it doesn't appear to have seen any freshening up since its construction. It is difficult to walk on the floor in... More
