City hotel with great service. Two very nice restaurants with a welcoming lobby bar. The breakfast buffet is a wonderful international presentation in a beautiful setting. It is Nepal, so lights go off but generators are very good.

Yes, the Yak & Yeti has deteriorated since 1996, but so has the whole of Kathmandu. It is still ok to stay there. Do not open windows higher up as the pigeons have taken over.
