The hotel is in a very nice location – an oasis of tranquility. Once inside the property you leave behind all the sounds, dust and bustle of Kathmandu behind you. Yet you are not far from the city and the tourist hot spot of Thamel. In fact Thamel is just 6 km away. A taxi will charge you 500- 600... More

In the13 years of coming to Nepal I have found big changes not only in the standard of accommodation but also the country. . The country unfortunately is going down hill whilst the Hotel's are getting better. Park Village Resort's are one of the best in my view. The owners know what the tourist want and need. BUT! I think... More

I was part of a large group (around 20) who stayed at this hotel for 6 weeks for a non-business training. Despite the obvious business that a large group of guests brings to a hotel, I found the hotel staff generally unaccommodating - not necessarily the lower-level staff but those with positions to make decisions. I absolutely love Nepal and... More

A very large group of us, from our company, stayed at the Park Village. It's a little way out of the city (6 km north of our office) but as it's out of town and near the mountains, it's also cleaner and less central -- so less pollution and more place to walk around. We stayed in the new wing,... More

I stayed in hotel for one night in Jan. Telephonic booking from India and airport pick up were hassle free. The property is huge and as the name suggests is like a village. They have many recreational facilities including cemented TT table. A group of 25-100 can enjoy better the whole resort. The much acclaimed Budha Nilkanth temple is three... More

Stayed for 5 days during a seminar. Rooms are very much OK, both the newer and the older ones. Food, there is only one word for it : outstanding. The hotel went out of its way to help us with the seminar, organising a very nice drink outside around a bonfire, serving excellent barbecued chicken, mutton and fish (amongst other... More

This hotel is used by groups (hence my stay) I had a bad experience last time and this was no better. overall it is a poor hotel. Dinner is a buffet which was cold, dishes are often not replenished. Lights outside not working on way to bedrooms. The rooms are not good.

IT happened that I checked in when there were absolutely no guest in the hotel. It's a very large resort, its like a small jungle. Although the hotel was very lit up, evening walk can be quite scary, the manager said they have over 2000 trees. Anyways the manager was nice enough to invite me to his house for dinner.... More

I was travelling with 2 little ones (2 yr old and 7 mnth old) so was looking for a place outside hustle of thamel but close enough, this place looked ideal as it had lots of space, beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. even though we enjoyed the space, but the rooms are really run down and small, the linen... I, my wife and a couple of our family friends visited this hotel in August 2011 recently and stayed for 3 days. We are not at all satisfied with the stay here and all of us felt very pained being there. We really did not have much of an option to shift to another hotel, else we would have shifted... More
