Location is very good. Small room but still comfortable for short or long stay. Recommended for backpacker. Manager willing to help and negotiable in extention. Overall still in good conditions. Hopefully more upgrading room service to achieve satisfactory especially for tourist.

The hostel is good given its price and location. The description on its website is true and modest. Room is clean and furniture almost new. The best feature is the owner and the manager. We stayed both here and at Taiwanmex. We prefer the latter since it was mostly ant-free and cheaper. Happy Family is okay though if you don't want to spend all day looking for a budget hotel that isn't too dingy (thre are tons of options in the vicinity). Staff here was very friendly (hence the name I guess).

There is very dirty, cockroaches are around the room. The mattress is only a piece of span. My body itch after stay at there. The holder always come in my room when i am not in the room. The wall is thin, can hear everything from other room.
