My husband and I, recently spent 4 nights at the Hotel Sense in Taipei. Beautiful, small, intimate boutique hotel in a very good location. Less than a 5 minutes walk to the MRT station. Our room was comfortable, with a great Japanese style tub, great toiletries, including toothbrushes, comb, razor, hairbrush, make-up remover pads, lotion, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc....

A fine hotel in a decent location, just a few subway stops or a short taxi hop from the main sights in central Taipei. This isn't the largest hotel and doesn't have many facilities, but we didn't visit Taipei to sit in a hotel spa.
Our room was a superior double, and spacious enough, though we didn't have a window....

Took a taxi from the High Speed Rail station (Taipei) to hotel, which was a 10+ min ride at a charge of 100 dollars. Very courteous and efficient check-in. Friends booked me into this hotel. Got a feeling that majority of guests there & then were Japanese.
Think the hotel features 12 floors and ca 6-7 spacey rooms on each...

Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very nice, clean and updated. Only compliant was that there is no heater. After setting the room temp to around 28 degrees C and not feeling any difference in heat after an hour, called down to the front desk only to find out that the hotel does not turn on the...
