This Hotel is exactly like many Novatel's I have stayed in, except it doesn't have a club floor with club floor facilities. The pictures of a pool on some of the advertising is quite deceptive as it is in fact a cleverly photographed spa pool, not a swimming pool. This is a popular one night busload/ group hotel making checking... More

My trip to Taipei was awesome, as usual. Overall, this was a very nice hotel, with great customer service and good location! Service: The bell boys and front desk staff all spoke english - some better than others but still decent. All were quite friendly. Location: When you first step out of the hotel, it may look like there's nothing... More

This hotel is in a good location...it was nice they provided free bottled water and coffee in the lobby...though it was better to exchange money in the department stores than through the hotel. Breakfast had not much variety...

The hotel is well-situated, a 10 minute walk to Ximending, close to LongShan temple, with plenty of buses and taxis running on the main road. That said, our room wasn't noisy, and was elegantly and comfortably done. I missed the breakfast, but I really have to rave about the rooftop jacuzzi. I was there in early October, and having read... It is a nice hotel with nice room. Location is not so center but you can easily crab a taxy to go to visit Taipei 101 and entertainment close to it. It takes with taxy about 30-40 minutes. Breakfast is quite big with different choise, but also quite crowded. Wireless internet is for extra charge.

I like the location of this hotel. The short walk to Ximen metro station doesn't really cause me a problem and from there you are connected to the rest of the metro (which is super cheap and very user friendly). Ximen itself is a vibrant fun part of Taipei and great for eating and drinking. Rooms are a decent size... More

We stayed here for four nights early in March and yes we had initial concerns regarding the location of this hotel, but were pleasantly surprised after exploring the area. Yes, it was a 10 to 12 minute walk to Ximen Station, restaurants, shopping, night life and some sight seeing (Lung Shan Temple) - but this did not cause any issues... More

This hotel is a 5 min walk from Xiaonanmen station which is one stop away from Ximen. Walking to Ximen takes 15 mins straight down allong, the road. Not too bad if the weather is cooling. There are eateries near the hotel too if you crave for Taiwanese braised pork rice/bento sets and traditional breakfast such as soya bean milk... More

Excellent hotel for family but probably better for a business stay. It is new and modern, but well designed and very tastefully furnished. Very friendly staff who are very service conscience . Dinner and breakfast buffet is more like a banquet affair with very good choices of both eastern and western foods. Hwahsi Street Night Market is a 10-15min walk... More
