room is spacious and very large, specially for the price paid. love the amenities - free snacks and the room is very well kept. very accessible as it is quite near to the train station and there are lots of convenience stores and restaurants on the way. it is also a bit central so getting in and out by taxi... First the downsides of which there are a few. The hotel is in need of some updating; its quirky (there was a window between bathroom and bedroom? oil paintings of Europe in an Asian hotel? teddy bears lining the stairway down to the breakfast room?), clean and has charm- but could use updating. Those that sleep light might have trouble... More

The front desk is very helpful but with limited English. Room key is a regular key and when you leave you leave the key at the front desk. My room was for four people and non smoking. The room is kinda small. They have complimentary; water bottles, tea bags, instant coffee, instant noodle, slippers, condom (dresser) and fruit's in the... More

We stayed for almost two weeks in November and it is a fine place to sleep, have breakfast, and get ready for a day of sight-seeing in Taipei. The hotel is near a Metro stop, a night market, and lots of bakeries, shops, and restaurants. It is non-Western enough to make guests feel like they are in Taiwan, yet it... More

We booked a VIP room for 4 nights. Room is average and comfortable (enough) for 2 adults and 2 children under-5. There's a REALLY HARD king-size bed and one pull-out couch in the room. It was more comfortable to put extra blankets on the pull out and sleep on it than the huge bed. Lights switches in the room were... More

I recently stayed in this hotel during my december holiday. The staff is very helpful in providing us information travel around Taipei. However, the nearnest MRT station is slightly away from the main interchange MRT station. Overall, location is fine with us with a small room. The only thing I dont like is the weird raised bath tub on legs,... More

My first stay at this particular hotel in Taipei and was there for 6 nights. Unfortuantely I was sick for most of my stay (nothing to do with the hotel) so spent a lot of time in the room. The 6th floor room was large enough and the bed was quite comfortable without being too soft. The TV has about... More

Must say the hotel really does have all the amenities needed for a no-frills comfortable stay. We booked a family 4 person room for 3 nights and the room had 1 spacious (king size?) bed, 1 single bed with a pull out. This room was rather spacious and bigger by far than our previous one at city inn plus (ximending).... More

Plus side: 1. The hotel room is clean, bed is comfortable and there is a mini sauna in our toilet. 2. The employees there are awesome, very polite and helpful. They are approachable and able to advise us on all the available one-day tour and directions. 3. Great location, ard 10 mins walk to Shuang Lian train station and maybe... More

The most economy way to travel from Taoyuan to Yomi is by Kuo-Kuang Motor Route 61, Adult 125 Child 65, bus stop opposite Ambassador Hotel. Get back to intersection and make a right and past Pizza Hut. Check in is efficient and fast. I have booked for Triple Superior room for 2 + 6 nights, come with a 1 queen... More
