palais de chine is a boutique hotel complete with a massive horse sculpture to welcome you in the lobby. not sure what the connection is to horses, but it is quite impressive the hotel is quite theatrical in appearance. it's quite good fun wondering around the 'pseudo-gothic' surroundings. breakfast serves up a wide range of treats, from local dishes to... I came to Taipei for business, and this relatively new hotel is located right at the juncture of all public transit, subway, highspeed rail, rail, bus transfer stations, etc. Can't be any more strategic than that. It is also connected to a trending shopping mall so the good thing is it is very much self-contained and you are not forced... More

I went to Taiwan for a cycling tour and arrived in Tapei 2 days earlier. My cousin booked me into Palais De Chine. It is rather expensive but for the money I paid, it was worth it! The hotel is about 2 years ago and still feels fresh and new. The location is the best features of this hotel, with... More

We stay in this hotel for one night. The Location is unbeatable, it just next to taipei train station, but somehow the noise from traffic. If you are looking a room for the location, this will be a great chose. One more thing, when we got the room, the hot water is not working, but once I call the the... More

I stayed here for a night in Taipei after visiting Sun Moon Lake. Everything is so perfect in this hotel. Staffs are quite helpful in all aspects, room is nicely decorated, nice lighting. I wish I had a drink at the bar, but didn't have time to. Would definitely stay here again:)

I took the airport bus to the taipei train station and it was slightly confusing trying to find the hotel from there. The path had quite a number of steps so handling luggage was tough. Thank goodness my luggage was still rather light. Check-in was a breeze at the reception on the 6th floor. There were employees in the lobby... More

I was trying to get into the Roshen but couldn’t and arrived here. The reception is on the 6th floor. Stayed seven nights in two different rooms. Definitely would stay again. Note to self, ask for room without a balcony because if it does not have a balcony, -much bigger room and either way, a very nice room. Easy to... More
