was here just recently, we arrived knowing that there are no king-sized beds in their rooms so settled in on queen-sized since our family came w/ two kidz. so surprise upon arriving in a room w/ 2 single beds on the opposite sides of the room, went up to complain a little loudly and was given an adjacent queen-sized room.... We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 days during the new year period. From the website, everything look promising. Neat, clean and with the hot spring in the hotel which is the reason to stay there. Upon arrival , the hotel looks much smaller than expected. The only hot spring is a squarish sunken bathtub that you can fill... More

Please note, based on booking on the website, the standard room we book does not come with the hot spring tub. It was misrepresented with their photos. Aside from that, this hotel charges 5 star prices yet they only service 3 choice of set meals with limited varieties. Upon our request for ala carte menu instead they inform they do... More

The hotel is not new and you can tell from the outside. But, in these days of boutique hotels, this property location is ideal to let you melt into the nature. The hot springs at Yangmingshan is famous and has very strong sulfer smell. The hotel has a small restaurant and a large size swimming pool outside. Stay there to... More

We looked at a lot of options in the Beitou and Yangmingshan areas for something with a bit of luxury, private mineral spring baths and family friendly. The Landis is the best option in the area and well priced. We got a deluxe tatami room and loved it. Not being able to speak Chinese can be inconvenient at times, so... More

We stayed there 2 nights in a superior room with our own hotspring tub. The room is very zen like putting emphasis on simplicity and wood based designed. The hotspring tub is very big overlooking the cherry trees but unfortunately we can't have the blind lifted because the hotel is not a high rise building. Food and breakfast are so... More

We stayed in Landis Yangmingshan last Thursday and Friday nights. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Everyone including waitresses spoke good / very good English, which was a big surprise to us since English language is not widely spoken or understood here, as much as my local friends want to give credit to. We are residing in Taipei... More

My husband and I stayed with the Landis Yangmingshan from 23 Feb 2009 to 25 Feb 2009. We had room #202. Check-in was fast and efficient. I am not sure of the English proficiency of the check-in staff as I could speak Mandarin. However, the staff at the public baths / spa (located at the basement of the hotel's premises)... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a business conference on location. As a previous reviewer noted, the modest entrance to the hotel belies an attractive and welcoming interior. The staff were excellent and helpful, coming out with an umbrella to usher me inside. The resort has four floors, and as I believe there are no... More
