I spent 300 sgd for 2 nights in a high peak weekend. Considering the excellent room i was assigned, i can confirm it is good value for money. Most of the other options were sold out or extremely expensive. Very good breakfast as room service. Good location.

The hotel has a good location in the central part of Taipei and the subway is just a short walk. During my stay the hotel was visited by big groups of mainland chinese tourists. The lobby and the breakfast area were extremely busy at times. The breakfast was so so for a four star hotel. I would advice to get... More

This is a five star facility according to local star rating standards which makes for about a 3 star experience by Western standards. Staff will go to great lengths to help you, the initial appearance is grand with a lobby that express five star ambitions. The rooms however leave a lot to be desired and could use a makeover. Everything... More

Check-in was a breeze, staff were very friendly and polite. Although the hotel decor's looked a little dated, it has that classic feel of a former luxurious 5 star hotel. The room was small but clean. My only complain is the massage parlors surrounding the hotel are, which would be good if you're looking for that sort of thing but... More

This was our 1st trip to Taiwan for the 6 of us. After checking into our rooms we decided to step out for dinner. The concierge, Roger, had mentioned that the weather that day had been "strange" by which he meant unpredictable. We strolled through a night market and after 10 minutes it began to pour cats and dogs. We... More

All the personnel of this hotel seems super friendly and helpful. Needed wine opener and glasses and they delivered in one minute. Complained about the room temperature and they sent a person with a room heather within a minute. Great service. The food and drinks in hotel are overpriced, the rooms seem slightly outdated and I really don't like that... More

I was recommended this hotel by my girlfriend who had previously stayed there before. Did not disappoint. While there is no view, it is 5 mins walk towards the nearest subway station (not the main line) and if you want to walk a bit more, its about 10-15 mins to Minquan East station. While it looks secluded and surrounded by... More

Was't impressed at all when we were approaching this hotel, but once we went in, the hotel staff received us at the entrance with warm smiles and bows. I could tell despite its years, the lobby was beautifully maintained and exuded an air of old grandeur. We had 2 rooms, which were close to perfection, with inviting beds, roomy wardrobe,... More

Got upgraded to 1 bed room suite after some issue with my original room. Quickly decided by the reception staff. Nice big and comfortable room. Everything was working as it should do. Good breakfast buffet. Overall stay was very pleasant. Very friendly reception staff!
