This hotel has been newly added to Hilton Honors. It is *not* ready for primetime. On your way to check in, you are greeted, to your left, by a sleazy suit salesman and to your right by a pot shop. The (very small) rooms have not been renovated since this hotel closed as a Novotel, and they have probably not been renovated in the last 20 years. Old everything, the 19th floor carpets reek of urine, and the only working WiFi (barely!) is still Novotel. No real upgrade offered for Honors Diamond, just a higher floor room. The prices are far too high for how old and sad everything here is. Breakfast was ok with some variety over the four nights I stayed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But this property is a huge disappointment, and grossly overpriced.

Hotel's Favourite
Very good hotel for the price. Great location on Silom road and easy to walk to some main tourist areas and sky train about 10 minutes walk away. Great rooms, happy hour 2 for 1 6pm- 8pm with excellent wine.. great value for BKK. Breakfast is ok- good with some variety day too day. Pool small but usable. Only issues I had was no working air con in the gym so unusable in the heat and also Wi-Fi was way too slow in my room.. at times could not check emails even so for business if May not be too good. Would stay again as staff are very helpful and friendly but please fix that Wi-Fi

The Foyer area of the Hotel was very busy at times especially during the afternoon, however the air conditioning is good and there are a few seats scattered around. We were fortunate to have a room on the 19th floor, so quite nice views and it also meant the busy roads outside didn't impact on our sleep. The rooms are adequate, but in need of updating, which I believe is happening as The Hilton Garden Inn have recently purchased the Hotel. The bed was comfy, the room had an easy to use safe, a mini bar which you could put some of your own drinks in if you needed to. There were a few hangers, an iron and ironing board, along with 2 bottles of water each day. There was a kettle, cups, coffee, tea and coffee mate. The lighting in the room is quite poor and there wasn't a mirror in the room itself only in the bathroom over the sink, should you wish to apply makeup, or shave it wouldn't be the ideal room as the lighting in the bathroom around the mirror was poor too. However the spacious shower was very good with ample supply of hot water from a rain shower style head. We were supplied with two bath towels and one hand towel each day. The room was cleaned to a good standard and the room itself didn't feel too small. Be prepared for the strong smell of cannabis as you walk towards the hotel foyer as there is a cannabis shop entrance in the hotel entrance just before the Foyer, for me it was very unpleasant and not really appropriate for a hotel were children stay. The Hotel is fairly well located, it was about a 10 minute walk to the river to catch a river taxi, and 10 to 15 minutes to the Sky train. There were a number of restaurant and bars close by.

Stayed here for three nights and had a good time. Comfortable, quiet and clean rooms, friendly and professional staff, a small but nice pool area and a neat fitness room. There are many restaurants, bars and shops in the surrounding, as well as Bus stops and the oriental boat pier.

Very very run down and feels so old. They basically took over a novotel and it looks so bleak and sad honestly. The Hilton brand was kinda being tarnished here, even though it is supposed to be the cheaper option but I feel more effort should have been put on the image of the hotel. Shower area didnt have door to prevent water from splashing and made the floor very wet. It was a long walk from the BTS station and it is definitely not worth it for its current rate. Personally will not recommend at all.

Because we didn’t know what date we would be flying in to Bangkok from Phuket Town I hadn’t pre booked my favourite hotel in Bang Rak. When we had dates sorted couldn’t find availability at CentrePoint Silom (our favourite) and many others were also booked on the required dates. Decided on Novotel Silom knowing its location and they had availability. What a disappointment. The foyer needs a total makeover with the furnishings looking like they have been there for many years. Reception staff were pleasant as were housekeeping. The room was adequate as we’re out and about mostly. The bathroom design is unusual but serves its purpose. The pool area is unwelcoming as once again a makeover is well overdue. One bonus is Maggie Choo’s bar / cabaret show downstairs next to the entrance to the Novotel. Didn’t see the show this time but had a drink there. It’s fascinating, once belonging to the East India Company which (if what we were told last visit is true) and they stored their spices there. Very interesting and the food is good also. As for the Novotel, a very tired hotel which desperately requires money spent on it.

The hotel has good facilities and is very well located. Cleaning wise it was effective. But it suffers from a problem that most services in this region suffer from: communication in English is quite deficient and makes it very difficult for one to convey the wanted/needed information and to the hotel employees, no matter how willing they may be, when so, to help. Language barriers often inhibit or hinder better service. They were effective in replacing items such as complementary waterl and personal hygiene items. The hotel's location allows easy access to other activities and to the central region of Bangkok and other locations. Late check-ins, as was our case, can make it difficult to find and choose a meal at the hotel. However, when we arrived, the baggage clerk was extremely efficient and helpful.

First of all I wont recommend this hotel for any kind of stay as its a total waste of money and didnt even close to a regular hotel 1) room size very very small , its like living is very small cube room 2) Toilet and Bath Area ridiculous with no doors or curtain ..water spilling out 3) Breakfast buffet very very poor - only had Bread butter for vegan option and no Indian spread. i requested what they have in veg and they updated breads and cereals 4) Highly expensive as compared to what they offered Dont waste your money book anyother hotel

Spent a night here because of its brand " Novotel " Nice view room but a bit old especially pillows. No iron & iron board in room as describe. I tried to call Housekeeping and " YOU " to borrow one but nobody pick up my phone. Wifi has 2 signals one is " NOVOTEL " but a bit weak, cannot dowload any Tik Tok clip, so they provided in-room router under " inbahman " however it shows " temporary full " Location is great which is located on the main road, close to every thing
