This is a hotel suffering from a severe case of schizophrenia. It used to be named the Vaboir Royal Lodge but for some reason decided to be re-branded the Vabua Asotel. Please forgive me for not knowing what an "Asotel" is but in this ignorance I am not alone, the hotel staff doesn´t know either.... So some signs around the... More

it is quite good hotel, not much to say about it, it is budget friendly, nice helpful staff, clean simple rooms, the restaurant is very good, overall it is good quality for limited budget, good for couples or young travelers without kids.

This was our second stay at the Vaboir Lodge. We arrived late evening on the 26th December. Check in was friendly and easy. We booked a suite again. Had a light snack in the bar area and a couple of well deserved singha's to unwind. We were collected by Asia Evolution Tours 8am and driven to Baan Rim Nam at... More

I had a stay at this hotel for 2 nights and they offered good service. Rooms are very neat and Staffs are very cooperative and very helpful. They had offered free shuttle service even I wanted to go near by Grocery shop ( 7 Elevan ) . I was very impressive with their service and I would recommend for all... More

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Room was clean and tidy(suite room). Staff were nice and friendly, understand english even though they dont speak them well. The food and the prices at the restaurant were reasonable and there were a lot to choose from. 7-11 store less than a 100m from the hotel. The only issue was the location.... More

We booked this hotel as a stop-over from our late landing international flight one night to our domestic connection the next day. It was roughly half way between the two main airports in Bangkok which was ideal as we landed at one and departed from the other. I don't really have much negative to stay. The room was quite large... More

Let's be honest, if you're looking at a 390-600 baht per night hotel your expectations shouldn't be too high. What you are getting is a firm bed and pillow, mini fridge, hot shower, a few bugs in your moderately clean room and cold A/C that may smell funny at times - or is that just Bangkok in general? What you... More

I arrived just before midnight from overseas and my domestic connection wasn't until 2 pm the next day. Usually I would take a taxi all the way to Khao San Road area and get a cheap room there. But with the price of a taxi there (500) and a half decent room (400) and a taxi back (500), I figured... More
