My wife and I use Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International airport as a springboard between destinations. We have stayed at the Great Residence Hotel before and have found it to be clean and comfortable. Wear and tear has slowly but surely reared it's ugly head and although unfortunate it's inevitable. There's free wifi but the further you are from the main block... More

Booked this hotel as a stopover as we had an early flight to Ubon Ratchathani the next day through Agoda. I had sent an email from Sydney regarding the shuttle service and received prompt reply. When my husband and I arrived at the airport we did have to ask where the hotel rep was for the bus as there was... More

I spent one night at this hotel whilst in transit in Bangkok. The room was good, the price good, and the free airport shuttle bus was good BUT I will never go back there. I woke up to the sound of a woman shouting and screaming to be let go. She was a prostitute I am sure, and her client... More

Hotel is a misconception for this property it is a Thai appartment building that normally rents for about 3,000 to 4,000 baht per month, given that, it s clean, reasonable and good value, never tried the food. Airport transfer was something t be desired we waited almost an hour to get picked up. A local hint if you walk out... More

I am staying here now and am stuck in my room with a nasty case of food poisoning after eating in the hotel restaurant 10 hours ago. I just dragged myself down to the front desk to ask for water and had to fight the woman at the desk not to charge me for it. She would only give me... More

As a couple, we jointly stayed here around ten times in five years. In 2011, however, GR raised its prices and the staff has become, well, greedy. Before tipping was welcome, but not expected. Now it is impatiently awaited. GR has also increased the number of rooms by a lot--the place feels too big and impersonal. I now stay around... More

This is the perfect place to stay if you are in transit over night in Bangkok and if you book on the site in advance of your trip you can get a room for around 700 baht (USD 23). It is perfectly safe and the escorts at the airport pick-up are girls so that female travelers can feel comfortable. There... More

After locating the hotel rep in her cage with the other touts and representatives at Suvarnabhumi Airport, my group was told to wait 5 minutes (which in reality was closer to 15 minutes in traditional Thai fashion). In due course the hotel's minivan arrived and efficiently transferred us to the hotel, 10 minutes' drive away. The bellboys helped to carry... More

This hotel will pick you up at airport (BKK), and bring you back. Clean rooms. I did not find anything wrong with the room. Staff is very attentive and will take care of you. If your first time to Thailand and need an airport stopover, this is it. And when you come back...You will use them again. I have. Plain... More

This hotel has everything one needs over a stop-over. Very smooth transfer from the airport, easy check-in, and comfortable rooms and a swimming pool. Absolutely recommendable. Small restaurants just down the road three minutes walk away. Friendly staff. Very affordable. It delivers everything it promises and more.
