I think the location of the hotel is really good but that's the only good thing about it. The property looks really old and I think it is time for a total re-construction! but in anyway if you happen to be there just ask for rooms on the upper floors, my room was in the round building and there was... I stayed five days in old wing. There was no bathtub in the toilet. The bathroom is so small. There was only one shower in the bathroom. The hotel lobby was too much gathering and people speak loudly. Otherwise hotel is OK. More

this was a fairly good standard hotel for our last night in bangkok. Nothing spectacular. However, we had a a good size room, very clean, large bathroom. The breakfast was good and plentiful with lovely staff in the breakfast room. The hotel is centrally located, and once we got our bearings, and stopped being terrified of the traffic. The hotel... At an end of a biking tour in Kanchanaburi had to spend two nights in Bangkok. Looking for a centrally located hotel and ambassador hotel was a good choice on paper. In reality it is in the worse position ever as it is in the mid of the night street of Bangkok. Not only that rooms are very small not... More

Hotel is huge. Location is great. Staff are smiling, but clueless. Claims to be 5 star, but I disagree. Well, maybe 30 years ago. The stunning lobby chandeliers are not enough to impress me. Rooms are worn-down, and the property needs an urgent revamp! Guests seems to be 95% indians. Nice swimming pool area. Gym might have been state-of-the-art when... More

Noisy Ambassador Hotel. Have used Ambassador Hotel, in Bangkok, Sukhumvit road, soi 11, a few times the last 7-8 months. Each time during a stopover for 2 days. The first thing one notice is of course the impressive big Lobby with a long reception desk. The check in procedures is not so impressive. It takes time for the staff to... More

We stayed again in the hotel and received again outstanding service and real value for money. We stayed in the new wing privilege rooms for a longer duration of 2 weeks. The new GM (Mr Danai Wansom) is even more active in ensuring their high quality of service. When I was telling him about all the good experience we were... More
