With the hotel booking confirmation sheet, the staff wasn't able to trace my booking and said that they needed more prove from me. It took them about 20 minutes to find it. Front desk staff wasn't that polite when they couldn't verify. On the third night, we found that the room service didn't come to clean our room. We called... More

Been to this place last feb this year. It was my first time in bangkok and a friend recommend me to this hotel. It was not great but it's location is very convenient. Adjacent to the building were a hundred of stalls of dry goods to check on, many shopping malls were also on foot. the difficult part was the... More

I would definitly not recommend this hotel. The only positive point is its location very near (almost inside) Patunam market. I found the rooms old and dirty, as the rest of the hotel. Very dificult to get a taxi in this small soi, far from subway. However reasonable price More

There was an ongoing renovation during my stay at hotel and it was chaotic, workmen used one of the 2 lifts for the the renovation work and there was a long wait for oncoming lift. Lobby area and restaurant badly needs a renovation too as its dark, old and lacks ventilation. I was given the newly refurnished room but room... More

It is located in the heart of the city. But the street is very noisy for whole sale. It is crazy. It is located in front of pantip plaza the electronic world. The hotel is under renovation now so it is extra noisy. There is LCD TV in the room but with only thai canals. The breakfast is poor. There... More

I've stayed at First House, Bangkok twice over the span of a year. Despite it being a little run down, it is one of the cheapest and the most convenient locations ever! I remember the first time going there (just 2 girls), we were allocated a room at the end of a dimly-lit corridor, and when we viewed the room,... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times as its central to the very good Shopping area for clothing and close to the wonderful IT Centre. The hotel is old and some rooms run down but management are upgrading the hotel which can cause some noise in other rooms during the day. It is not generally a noisy hotel to... More
