I think the reviews should be separated between the sauna and the bed and breakfast. The sauna is a must go. Although the staff isn’t particularly friendly or helpful, it’s still an experience worth taking in. It’s probably the only complex of its kind in the world. It’s relatively clean and the crowd has a mix types including attractive, younger... More

Well located Babylon Apartments (next to Babylon Sauna) is a 10 min walk to Lumphini MRT (subway). Set in beautifully manicured tropical gardens, it is a quiet, private oasis in the centre of Bangkok. There is always a taxi or motorbike taxi out front to take you anywhere. Standard Bulgari garden apartments have garden outlook and rear garden for private... More

Okay, its not cheap but worth every dollar. We had a garden room which was just lovely; everything was very thoughtful down to the cookies left outside of our room. The room itself was not huge but luxurious. It was very quiet and peaceful all during the day and at night. The staff could not be nicer as we were... More

Perfect sauna. Perfect If you like old bored and arrogant clientele, no thai smiles and angels here. No nude swimming possible, small sauna and steam room and an atmosphere best described as a makaka on a hot sunny day: nothing to do ;) If this is the best sauna in the east: don't go there. More

Babylon is unique in many respects. It's a gay hotel - they call it "barracks" and in a way it is a luxury one. The rooms are simple but comfortable with no tv (you fly away from home and then watch what's going on there ;) and shared showers/toilets. This is for a reason too. As anything here. Music is... To be honest I never stayed overnight at this place so gave the room average Just want to report them because they advertise free entry to pool and gym area at weekdays before 3 pm So I went there with my polish friend and they made a bad face but let us in saying this offer had expired But after... As a regular visitor to The Babylon for more than ten years, I believe it deserves its reputation as one of the best gay saunas in the world. However, the adjoining Barracks accommodation is surely over-priced. Communal showers? Please! One word of warning. I must disagree emphatically with an earlier reviewer who states: "Babylon is unfailingly safe and moneyboy-free". I... More

I am writing this from a barracks room on the 6th floor. . The New Years Eve CountdownParty was one of the most outstanding experiences of my gay life. One thousand men dancing in the foam filled courtyard. A Coyote show, naked table dancers, followed by top DJs from Bangkok and Singapore. This place really is THE best resort for... More

I had only one short night to spend in Bangkok, so I decided to go all out and stay at Babylon.  The place is hyped as some sort of Disney for gay men.   Full resort, pool, restaurants, bars, sauna and impeccable service.  At 3,000Bhat/night, it's a pricey accommodation for Thailand.    I stayed in one of the Bvlgari rooms.  Its...
