The rooms here were pretty bare and basic, but did the job. The shared bathrooms were immaculate and if you asked them to clean your room then they did and put out new towels etc which was good. Great location, just of khao San so not far from the action but pretty quiet. Only complaint was that the only window... More

Every time i come to bangkok this is my first choice to stay. Although it helps if you book ahead as it is always full during the high season. For 780 bht we get a good double room and a balcony. In a separate occasion we booked a family room for 1200+bht (2 double bed) and requsted an extra bed... More

The restaurant was so so good. Amazing food (best green curry I tried) for best prices. When you enter the garden you directly see why it is such a popular place. It is so relaxing...the atmosphere is bringing you in the chilling vibe straight away. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Rooms were good. We had one without AC and that... More

The service here is terrible- staff act as though you are inconveniencing them for just being there! Hard to get any useful information about anything. However the rooms are small but clean and good room rates- which can be a hard find in the bed-bug ridden guesthouses around Khao San Rd. Great location, safe, and quiet.

I stayed at Lamphu House 7 years ago. Went back at the end of April and love the place. The rooms are basic but they have everything you need. The location is great- so secluded but so close to Khao San Rd- heaps of action. If you want cheap accom in a great location then book here.

If you want to avoid the crowded and noisy area of Khao San, Lamphu House is one of your best bet. It's in Soi Rambuttri area, just walking distance from backpacker's hub of KSR. Everything is okay, except for the fact that my room is located on the 5th floor (take note: they don't have elevators) and it doesn't have... More

After extensive, and I mean extensive, research over the years on foot and over the internet and actually staying in places we can fully state here that this is the best accommodation on offer for the budget traveller in Bangkok (Koh San Road area). It feels clean, safe & happy. There is a large area downstairs to eat and drink... More

The Lamphu House was the first station at our Thailand trip and it was a very good choice. We had booked a double room with private bathroom. The rooms were big and very clean. It has a nice and green backyard where you can calm down and have very good food in the restaurant.

I've stayed at Lamphu on many occasions and I've always found the staff pleasant, accomodating, and helpful, despite the number of people who pass through here daily. Situated close to Khao San, its is down a short soi so very quiet at night. The rooms are cleaned daily and the bedding always smells fresh and clean. the beds are also... More
