I stayed at the U Chiang Mai with my wife just recently. We had tried to stay here before but unfortunately it was booked out and this time around it was also heavily booked. I’m not surprised, this is a beautiful hotel, the best of several hotels we have stayed at in Chiang Mai old city. Featuring stylish architecture and... More

This hotel has a great location and if you happen to be there for the Sunday night market all you have to do is walk out the door of the hotel. The staff was awesome very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going the Chiang Mai

Great location, helpful people and an oasis from the sun and bustle. Walk outside and you are in the middle of the old town, great places to eat and watch the world go by right on the doorstep. Breakfast was great and personal service at every level top notch.

I loved this hotel. Though it is a bit on the pricey side for Chiang Mai and Thailand, I thought it was well worth the price. My best massage in Thailand was at this hotel. As a side note, their "happy hour" specials for their massages are a great deal. The breakfast was truly delicious. While I have not been... More

Great location just opposite to Wat Chedi Luang - a must visit location and not far away from Wat Pra Sing - Chiangmai's signature temple. Don't forget to stay at U on Sunday otherwise you will miss the Sunday market! Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had an excellent 2 night stay at the U Chiang Mai. We were upgraded to a pool access room which was really lovely. The hotel is very zen like, and the open air lobby and pool area are very modern. The location is perfect for walking to the main sites in the city. There are plenty of restaurants and... More

We are enjoying our stay in Chiang Mai so much that we have extended our stay. It is a relatively small hotel, with rooms positioned around a central pool area... More
