We stayed here for 4 nights we had the most amazing time and it was not enough in Chiang Mai as there is soo much to do The location was not good, Personally It is not lively, the University is nearby so lots of students. . If you want to stay somewhere lively for tourists then ensure you book a... More

Though not located in the city center or the east side river, this hotel is nevertheless in a uber cool suburb with lots of restaurants n drinking bars. For a light snack, take a bite of the MONT toast with egg custard jam across the road. More

We stayed in this beautiful place just 2 nights in September. The restaurant staffs were very helpful and friendly. The room was very pretty and comfortable but would be better if we couln't hear the neibour's TV loud in the morning while we still need some more time to sleep. The swimming pool is nice especially in the early eveing,,,... More

We had a fantastic and relaxing stay at the Yanatarsri Resort. Coming off a week at a five-star big chain hotel, the Yantarasri was a breathe of fresh boutique hotel air! The rooms were beautifully appointed and the bathroom with rain shower and stones was lovely. I thought the dark teakwood construction of the hotel was really beautiful, and enjoyed... More

Stayed here in September. Lovely rooms, good breakfast, lovely buda statues everywhere...felt very chilled and peaceful. It's just off the main road so you don't hear the traffic. we had a room with a balcony which was nice, there are also rooms onto the pool which looked lovely too. There is a very cheap "bottle shop" just up on the... More

After reading all the rave reviews, I booked a room here. Checked in right after my friends left CM as I've decided to extend my trip by myself. Nimmanheimen was supposed to be slighty nice and interesting area, granted it was by small town standard (it does has it shares of nice and interesting conceptual cafes and such) and a... More

A friend recommended Yantarasri resort as Chiang Mai's 'hidden gem', and it did not disappoint! Tucked away down a soi in the lively Nimmanheimen district, the exterior does not give much away. However as you walk through the gates (past the ubiquitous welcoming elephant statues) you almost feel like you have stepped back in time. The wooden house that houses... More

This resort is really amazing. As soon as you step into it, you find a whole different environment - trees, courtyard, birds, the sound of water. It is like stepping out of the hustle and bustle of a city into a peaceful oasis. The place is really well designed to present a very quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved our stay :) The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which is not always common. Our room was very spacious with a lovely verandah overlooking the leafy surrounds. The bed was king size, which was great because my husband and I are very tall! The room had lovely orchid flowers all around... More

Found this place on Internet. Located right on Nimmanhemin Rd. which is a hip street in Chiangmai. Close to everything. The atmosphere is so lovely and romantic. Service is good. Would visit again next time. More
