This hotel is a fair walk south of the city walls, so does feel isolated sometimes. The swimming pool and bar, however, are both excellent places to relax and meet people, and the tour booking desk is first-rate. I went trekking, cooking and mountain biking trips booked through here, and the prices were all pretty reasonable.

Bmp was suggested to us by Maam from the government travel agency. Not impressed by tg facilities. Very basic and not super clean rooms or bathrooms. Operated as a factory with the trips that they run. Overall just an ok experience.

A touroperator in Bangkok booked this accommodation for us, the brochure looked nice. But B.M.P. is located far from the city centre. We had to stay in a room which wasn't in the main building and was normally used by the staff (who were taking a nap in front of our room :-S) The beds were hard and not comfortable.... More

At BMP house...yes rooms are a bit shotty...but they are quieter then at BMP residence. Still staff are helpful and you can get booze til 1am and your not far from anything. At BMP Residence...the rooms are a bit nicer...and there's a pool and occasional live music, more people and your still very central...plus the girls (Anne) are very helpful... More

We stayed at the nearby B.M.P. house rather than the Resident as it was full. It was a 10/15 minute walk and we were allowed access to the pool which was greatly appreciated in the heat.
