Well priced, pool good to cool down, big room, nice breakfast choice and on 2 out of 3 days served very quickly. Final day (when we had a plane to catch) took about 30 minutes to get food after we complained about how others were getting served before us. They also lied about having no fruit when people ordering after... More

Very good hotel located in a quite street not very fair from the Night Bazaar and local attractions. The room that I had was nicely appointed with queen size bed, cable TV, A/C and on suite. The rooms were very clean and new and the staff were very obliging to all my requests. Breakfast was from a set menu, but... More

Great location, just off the main streets, go left out the hotel for wokorat market (pratice tao rai: how much, lod dai mai: can you do discount and kob kun ka: thank you :) go right out the hotel and you will go to the main town, huge night market and food court. Check out the walking market on a... More

This is a perfectly acceptable budget hotel. Rooms are spacious (new block slightly better) and the reception staff are helpful once you get used to their very quiet manner. Breakfast was from a set menu with quite a limited choice but perfectly OK given the B & B price. The swimming pool is very small and located over the road,... More

My friend who stayed at Mandala House with a tour group recommended this place. She said it was basic but good. Well I could not fault the place. Reception area a bit basic. But I asked if I could have a room in the new part, from reading TripAdvisor found out there were two sides. I got one on the... More

We booked this hotel because it was cheaper and looked nice online. Those things are true. But customer service and the restaurant is sub par. We watched the person waiting tables play on his phone while we waited to order - and we were the only ones sitting down. Then, it took 40 minutes for the restaurant to cook an... More

On a quiet street, this hotel was a short walk to food & shopping. Breakfast was simple & good with several options including eggs cooked to order, yogurt and fresh fruit. Our room was large and clean with a small balcony. I recommend getting to breakfast early to get a good table.

We spent the first night in the old part of the hotel, which was OK, but not great. Then we moved to the new part, a bit more expensive but the rooms are really fantastic. We ended up staying much longer than expected in Mandala, because we felt so good there. On the down side, the cleaning is not thorough... More

Staff were busy serving breakfast while we arrived at Mandala House. Anyhow, one noticed our arrival, approached us and gave us a map when my sister was rummaging tour brochures on the front desk. He can speak in Mandarin, made it easier for us to communicate. We managed to check in early to a spacious triple bedroom. For the amount... More

This place is great! It is at a good location, close to the old town and to the night bazar. It has two buildings and a small but well maintained outdoor pool across the street. One of the buildings seems newer. Thats the one we stayed in. Our room was specious, had big windows and a small balcony. The hotel... More
