My husband provided the surprise of a lifetime by booking 2 nights at the Spa Pool Villas at The Banyan Tree in Phuket to celebrate my birthday ......and it was almost perfect ...
From being met at the airport in a beautiful 7 Series BMW to being taken back 2 days later we had an incredible time.
The Villa was beautiful ... 210 has a lovely view of the lagoon and we had some great massages in the garden without barely having to move from our loungers. In room dining was good ...especially the spa breakfast. On the Saturday evening the room was prepared with so many orchids and candles I was actually speechless ( the bottle of wine and chocolates were a bonus !)
My only issue was at check in .... The receptionist checked our names, datesof our stay but also confirmed the price if the room per night. My Husband was really embarrassed by this ... He had wanted to keep it a surprise from me ... Surely there would be more discreet ways to ascertain this information ?
