I love the staffs they are very accomodating. Rooms are very nice. Easy access to tourist area. The staffs will help you for everything you want to know about Dalat. Very safe. I will definitely come back and stay here again. Not so expensive, very reasonable. Thumbs up!

We caught the sleeper bus to Da Lat so got in at 4am. We waited in a coffee house until 7am when we guest someone would be awake at Green City Hotel. We were able to check in early (12pm normal check in) for an extra 50000dong and had access to our room. The room was spacious with a king size double and ensuite that had hot water

Please don't pay attention to the whiny reviews. Yes there is a bit of street noise but I haven't stayed in a hotel in Vietnam that doesn't have some noise. I had a great stay here and thought the reception was excellent. They allowed me to check in very early as my bus got to Dalat at 5 in the morning. Just ring the doorbell. The room was very clean, I have absolutely no complaints and the location is excellent.

This hotel has no soundproofed glass and the noise of the road is akin to sleeping in a tent beside a German Autobahn. We literally got no sleep and I had to buy earplugs for the second night. If you are going to be out all night and not worried about noise affecting your sleep, this place is fine. The room itself is ok..very basic however it wasnt serviced during our 2 night stay.Bathrooms left a bit to be desired too. Receptionist not the most polite. All in all, if you can stretch a bit further than their cheap price, Do it!

Response from vcafedalatvietnam, Owner at Dalat Green City Hotel
Responded 2 Oct 2016
Let’s face it – Vietnam can be very very noisy. The street noise starts early in the morning and ends late at night. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying earplugs for a trip to Vietnam. In fact, we sell excellent earplugs at the reception for a very modest price (they are 35db reduction…. We basically sell them near our cost – no profit – so that our guests can have a better experience at our hotel and their entire Vietnam trip).

Myself and a friend stayed here for two nights and we couldn't have rated it any better. The owners were the kindest and nicest people we have met. They were so helpful and we enjoyed our stay so much. The hostel was really nice and breakfast excellent. My friend got badly bitten and the lady went to pharmacy for her and got her medication. We done the easy rider with the owner and the trip was so good and the cheapest in dalat! We felt really safe and secure. We would definitely stay here again. It felt like home and really welcoming. We had the best time here and couldn't fault a thing.

Despite what some of the other reviews say, we had a great stay here! It's a short walk away from this centre, so is in a great location. Our room was very clean and was cleaned multiple times during our stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I have no complaints about this hotel, and would recommend it to other travellers on a budget as it is excellent value for money.

The hotel is a bit far from the center, so when the shuttle bus from the airport took us there, the driver didn't take us to the door. Instead, he dropped us somewhere else that we still had to walk 5 to 10 minutes. When we first got to the hotel, we didn't have a very good feeling because the street was very busy and the front entrance just didn't look fantastic. Because of our flight, we arrived quite early in the morning (like 10 o'clock). In original, we were only plan to ask the front desk if we could left our backpacks there and chick-in in the afternoon... However the receptionist was very nice, she suggested that we could check in in the morning and took our backpacks into the room to refresh ourselves. I have to say.....as a cheap hotel, they have very clean room and bathroom.... Even the hotel is old, but we were very happy with the comfort and cleanness of our room. When they know we wanted to take a shuttle bus back to the airport, they also helped us to make a reservation. When we checked out, it was 6 AM in the morning. The receptionist woke up and made the phone call again to doublecheck the shuttle bus would come to pick us up. We were very very happy with this stay even though it's a bit far from the market and the center. But there are still many wonderful restaurants and bars in the area that you can try. And the weather in Da lat was very nice, so I guess traveling as backpackers, you won't mind do the city tour on foot.
