Decent hotel - probably a reasonable 4 star for Asia standards. We were a little worried when we arrived, as the lobby is very understated. However, the rooms were reasonably nice - consistent with the professional pictures online. Decor was a little artsy (a nice touch), but more importantly, they were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was not huge, but again,... More

Stayed here for only one night in May on business. This was the second time I have stayed here. Hotel is in a great location. Quite, but has easy access to everything in Hanoi. Rooms are very modern and very clean. This hotel is very well managed and they have a great focus on Customer Service. Staff friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed three nights at the Moevenpick Hanoi in May 2012. The rooms are smallish, and there is a huge floor-to-ceiling window from the bedroom to the bathroom (shower), which is a little weird, and definitely poses a privacy issue - if that's important to you. The staff was very helpful and informed, as they should be in a 5-star... More

We just stayed at the Movenpick Hotel in Hanoi. We had a gorgeous room, well decorated and very clean. The restaurant is lovely and the staff very helpful. We only ate there for breakfast, but there was a good choice. Taxis are available just outside the hotel and are very cheap and can quickly take you into the centre of... More

you practically can walk to everywhere while you stay in this hotel. just 2 minutes walk , in the corner, there is 1 very interesting traditional vietnam food restaurant that serve in al fresco terrace. Just beside this hotel, you can find the building with highland coffee for "cafe time" or go to rooftop for high class restaurant or the... More

I was in Hanoi on business and had a really pleasant stay at the movenpick. The staff were so friendly and even after I had checked out they looked after me. Lovely rooms with fantastic bathrooms. The food quality for room service could be a bit hit and miss and expensive for what it was. I had a lovely steak... More

I have been to the Movenpick about 10 times in the last few years, on business and holiday, and think it has to be one of the best – if not the best – options in Hanoi. The hotel is in a renovated old building on one of the main streets in Hanoi. The rooms have been tastefully fitted out... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. The hotel room was very nice, although it had an odd glass bathroom. The shower in the room was excellent. The bar area downstairs was a bit atmopshereless, but you don't really go to a place like Hanoi to spend all night in the hotel bar. The breakfasts here were by far... More

The hotel is located about 20 min walk from the lake and 2 blocks from Hanoi Hilton (the prison). The rooms were of a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. staff were friendly and always smiling. I stayed here one night. The rooms are clean and modern, quiet and well situated. The staff are friendly although their English could be improved for this category of hotel. In all, a very nice hotel.
