The Movenpick is centrally located in Hanoi. It is modern,clean..very good bar in the lobby and the staff was very helpful. We stayed there twice and were happy to return. The "Hanoi Hilton" is a close walk as is an excellent Pagoda. We ate at a terrific restaurant "Gnon" very closely. Not expensive . I recommend the hotel

I recently stayed three nights in this hotel - my first experience in Vietnam. I found the hotel a very pleasant oasis in extreme heat, though it is primarily a business hotel and doesn't have a swimming pool. My room was lovely with all the amenities I could want, and public areas of the hotel were also very nice, although... More

Great birthday celebration at Movenpick Hanoi. Upon arrival in the room at late evening, I discovered a nice birthday cake and complementary drinks to celebrate my birthday ! It was a great attention that my wife had coordinated with the hotel management making it truly a wonderful and personal welcome. The (upgraded) room is really large with nice bathroom. I... More

The Movenpick is a well located, good quality hotel in Hanoi. It has very clean, good sized rooms. Folks who know the business hotels around town tell me it is a great choice and I would tend to agree. Wireless Internet is okay (my Vietnamese friends won't claim their internet is the best in the region), breakfast is good and... More

Our Hanoi travel plans changed & our original hotel was not availabler a day earlier, so we booked Movenpick 1 day before arrival. Was very pleased with the hotel itself, & would have cancelled our other hotel booking & stayed at Movenpick, except for the check-in greeting of: "Since you booked through Travelocity, your rate is only for our most... The hotel is usually like a fish market - very noisy at the bar, reception, and level 2 where the function rooms and resto are, etc. Very tight and squeezy on L2. Everything is so spartan. How can a ''luxury'' hotel have no bathtubs in the room, and the bathroom amenities are so limited - no cotton buds, cotton wool,... More

I was in Hanoi for a business trip last week and stayed at the Movenpick Hotel. My wife and I have just returned from 3 weeks in Vietnam. We started our holiday in Hanoi and booked this hotel for 3nights. We loved every aspect of our stay - from the beautiful rooms; great breakfast and excellent location, everything was brilliant. The bedroom was spacious, modern, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast... More

Briefly, very good hotel with high-class rooms and service. Good laundry. Fantastic breakfast. Cannot complain at all. Some may consider the price too high, given that this hotel is probably one of the most expensive ones in Hanoi. However, I'm willing to pay the price in future if the quality of the hotel stays the same.
