You need to check out from your room first. The room is very small and tiny. There is no window in my room. The staff are firendly but the girl name Hien try to sell tours to us with expensive price.

Decent breakfast- good location. Restaurant on ground floor is nice. No ability to make phone calls. Beds are rock-hard. Overcharged for breakfast. It was $30 for a regular room. Balconies are nice. A decent option but looking for somewhere else for our next pass through Hanoi.
I've stayed in many hotels in Hanoi over the years and easily believe the Bamboo Hotel is one of the best! I had a good sized, clean and quiet room at the top of the hotel. In many Hanoi hotels the staff tend to be all friendly and welcoming when you first arrive and then lose interest in you once you've stayed...

Ok, first the positives: It is in a great location in the Old Quarter, it's spotlessly clean and has awesome air conditioning. The bar downstairs is lovely and great for people watching.
The rooms, however, seem to vary hugely. I had one in the back with no windows that was over the kitchen. No natural light made it a bit...

I enjoyed my stay at the Bamboo Hotel; the room quality was higher than the hotels near Hoan Kiem Lake and the price lower.
Though only about a 10 minute walk from Hoan Kiem area there are many great places to eat and drink in this area.
The room had good Wi-Fi and there was a computer in the lobby...

rooms cleaned daily and food here is better than a lot of places. ,

This is a neat little hotel with a convenience store next building and Le pub across the road. The staff are awesome and they arrange plenty of tours and cruises. Fantastic air conditioners which was a must in wet season. http://www.bamboohotelvietnam.com
The organic and eco look from the outside invite me to go in and thanks my sharp eye I did. Had the best time there, very well located, nice food, they were very helpful organizing me trips, tickets, taxis, even hair dressers. The manager and her personal very gentle and friendly. Also nice guests, with a nice laid back feeling...

I stayed in Bamboo Hotel back in February for a couple of nights and had a great time. The location is amazing - within walking distance of all the major spots in the Old Quarter. Don't forget to ask about "Bia Hoi Corners" which is within a 3 minute walk.
They have a convenience store right next door which is...

Phone ahead to get directions to this place as its on the wrong map in the Lonely Planet. The staff are hardworking, knowlegeable and will help with information and booking tours. Rooms are nice and basic, clean and comfortable in a good location. The restaurant has a good selection of Vietnamese and Western foods.
