3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2013 NEW

This hotel is rated as 3 star and that's reasonably accurate. We booked a superior room with a city view. When we got to the room after about 30 minutes waiting in the lobby,(we were slightly early) we got shown to a room which was not much bigger than a walk-in wardrobe, on the ground floor. When I looked out... More

We booked a superior room (room 702) for 5 nights and the hotel and room itself is nice for a 3 to 3.5 star hotel in SE Asia. They are clean and spacious enough for a couple on holidays. It is also a stone throw away from Hoan Kiem Lake & Hang Gai street and various other shopping streets if... More

Second stay here after trip to Ha Long. We arrived at reception after long journey back. We're then told our room was not available and we were to be moved to sister hotel down the road. However, to make up for this we were to receive a free upgrade. We arrived at our upgraded room and were a little disappointed... More

Stayed with this hotel twice ( Ha long trip in between). The first time was all good but we didn't get the city view we paid for. However, the room was immaculate and very modern so we were happy. The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome. However, I would advise a little caution - see second review...

Second time at this hotel, and it's still great. Location is superb, just a short walk from the northern end of Hoan Kiem Lake. My colleague was in a Superior Room, with was small but nicely decorated, and I had a Family Suite, which was great. Not really a Suite in the traditional sense, but a great big room beautifully... Don't listen to anyone who says that this hotel is not a little gem for a good price. Stayed with husband and two children ages 7 and 3 for 2 nights in room directly over the lobby which amazingly had NO traffic noise with the windows closed. The staff was very helpful and even went out of their way to... More

This hotel is just a few minutes walk to the famous Hoan Kiem Lake, water puppet show, many shopping streets. The staff are very friendly, the Receptionist very helpful in giving directions or suggestions. The rooms are spacious, clean and with good facilities. The buffet breakfast is also good, with orders being taken for the way you want your eggs... More

We were upgraded from a `Superior`to a top-floor VIP room with a balcony overlooking the city--very comfortable. When we returned we took a Deluxe room because the `superior`room is a bit tight, only 25 square meters. Near Old Town, Hoan Kiem Lake, and French Quarter, Very good breakfast. Efficient friendly staff. Generally, this hotel is a very good value. But... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. First 4 were in the presidential suite (the one with the pink drop) room 1101. We loved it. A quirky room with a lot of character. Comfy bed (we like a firm bed) great jacuzzi bathtub, french doors leading to large balcony overlooking rooftops, lovely flowers in the room, it was like your own... More
