Anyone who has been to Hanoi will know how difficult it is to find a hotel where you don't get woken at the crack of dawn by yelling street vendors, motor bikes, loud speakers blaring news, or animal noises, .. Prince V is truly an oasis in a fantastic location in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Spacious rooms, great amenities (bath, flatscreen... More

We moved to this hotel from a nearby hotel where we had stayed previously. The hotel had changed hands and was very disappointing this trip. We moved after one night to Prince V. It is located in an alley right in the centre of the Old Quarter, but being in an alley was very quite. The rooms were huge with... More

had made a reservation online and received a confirmation email. even setup a car pickup from the airport. unfortunately, there was no room available for us when we arrived and were sent to a hotel down the street (supposedly the same owners). the second hotel wouldnt tell us the rate, and said we'd be charged by the hotel we made... I stayed here while backpacking around the world and this was definitely the most luxurious place I stayed on a backpackers budget. The hotel looked fairly new and the room had fantastic amenitites - flatscreen TV, computer with unlimited free internet access and en suite with a bath! I tried several hotels in the Old Quarter area before coming across... More

For someone wishing to be central and comfortable to experience the Hanoi Old Quarter this is an excellent choice. Nice and central to the 'vibe' but up a lane way it is surprisingly quiet with an old world charm about it. On every level it is very good. BAR: No bar as such although you can get a drink to... This hotel is centrally located within the old quarter of Hanoi, however what makes it special is the people. They go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Every time we went on a side trip we could leave our excess luggage with them and when we had to wait for a transfer they gave as a room... More

I think the Prince V is fairly typical of many hotels in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The building is just one room wide and two rooms deep. If you have a room at the front (ours was 101 - first floor at the front) you have a balcony but as you look directly out across to the building across... More

I've stayed here a few times on my trips back to Hanoi. I've been back because the rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated and the bathrooms have the added luxury of a large bath included! In addition the ladies on the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The location is also very good. It is in a... More

A friend and I booked a room with the Prince IV hotel, and upon check-in we were moved to the Prince V hotel. We walked there, not too far, maybe a few streets away. Then, upon check in at the V, we were told we would have to move rooms again the next day. We were also greeted by a... More
