The Rising Dragon Palace Hotel is in a very quiet off street, so no traffic noise/problems etc. The hotel is a typical narrow 7 story Vietnamese hotel but being relatively new the decor and fittings are very modern. The rooms are a bit small but fitted out with a separate bathroom and toilet, very clean, room service everyday, in room... More

I loved this hotel. The service was great from the get go.We had special attention as soon as we arrived and were given a 1:1 chat of where tourist attractions are. We had a few issues in our room which were fixed immediately which was fantastic and made our stay perfect :) nothing was a problem. The rooftop bar /restaurant was... More

We first stayed at the hotel at the beginning of our holiday to Vietnam, later we returned to Hanoi. After our initial stay, we decided to return to the Rising Dragon Palace Hotel, and it wasn't a mistake. We received the same superb treatment, so our first assessment (review) has not changed, a fantastic place to stay, whether you're on... More

We really loved this hotel. Lovely location right in the heart of the old quarter. We spent two nights here during a 3 week trip to China and Vietnam. Our room (front of hotel with street view) was spacious, clean and well equipped. The air con (much needed) worked efficiently. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and we... More

Due to logistical issues, they set me up with an even nicer room at the Marigold hotel which they just bought. The room was terrific and the service second to none. I plan on staying here again for sure.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel and wished i could have stayed longer! Rising Dragon Palace had great clean cheap rooms, great staff, good spa, amzaing frontdesk workers! They really made my stay at this hotel unforgetable. Helped me out with, laundry, tours, sightseeing, where to eat and my Ha Long Bay trip. Even when i got back from Bangkok... More

My son, his Fiance and I all stayed at this hotel for several nights while in Hanoi in fact I also returned for 2 nights before going back to the United States. I can't say enough about this hotel. The staff bent over backwards to help us with tours, and anything else we bugged them about which was often. The... More

We stayed at the Rising Dragon hotel for a couple of nights while in Hanoi. The hotel is of a high standard, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The rooftop restaurant was a real treat as well. We'll stay here again.

Not a bad place to stay for a night. But the room is really small. There are better hotels around at the same budget. I would look for other options if possible especially for longer stay. Additional bonus: The hotel staff are pretty friendly.

PLUS : Comfortable room, nice separate showering and toilet area. Staffs were friendly with good service. Pretty good value for money compared to what you pay for. MINUS : Only minor remark about the bathroom that we stayed : it seemed that water could get through the hole from showering to the other side of toilet area on the floor.... More
