I tried a few boutique Hotels near Ha Noi's central district and I feel that Calypso Hotel is one of the best relative to it's price range. It's very clean, the rooms are well furnished and the breakfast is great. It's not buffet but you can have as many as you want in their list of choices.

The Calypso came highly recommended by friends and it did not disapoint. We emailed the hotel and they pre-arranged our Sapa & Halong Bay trips. The staff were excellent nothing was a problem, great location, very clean and excellent breakfast. Mad if you don't stay there!
