The hotel is in a central location and in a pleasant area. There is a pretty square with cafes nearby. Very nice hotel, with great shops and restaurants. The staff very helpful and friendly. Centrally located, this is a great hotel to stay in while touring Hanoi. Luxury shops such as Gucci are across the streets. The rooms are nice, but in all honesty, could use a little renovation. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

“Good location and service”

Hilton always have good service. This hotel is no exception. Not much of complains. Walking distance to the popular lake. Stayed in the executive floor. Breakfasts and lounge facilities were mediocre and pretty disappointing. The room was big. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Lovely lovely lovely service, rooms, breakfast and services. Pol a bit small. Wonderful entertainment each afternoon in the enormous foyer. Room service lovely. Great location close to good food and shopping. Breakfast was the best we have had anywhere in Vietnam.

“Good Hotel, Unfortunate Name.”

Initially was disbelief that they actually used the name known worldwide as the infamous Prisoner of War camp. When I was there (longer ago than TripAdvisor would let me list) it was the best hotel in the city.
