The hotel felt oldness. It was felt with the room like dust. The room at which I stayed was somewhat large. Breakfast was not delicious. The hotel is distant from the town. It is necessary to use a taxi for movement. Profit is a charge. For the next Hanoi sightseeing, it is made a... More

Having returned to the Saigon hotel for the first time after two years, I have found a nice room renovation: carpet and curtain replaced and very clean. In response to comments by other reviewers, I would say that towels and bedspread are also very clean. My room (deluxe) is spacious. The rates of Saigon hotel are quite reasonable for Hanoi,... More

Good value hotel - I had room 307, very spacious room with a large double bed, large flt screen TV, lots of cable channels (few in English), large sitting area, on-suite bathroom, in-room safe, fridge, fruit bowl (refreshed every day), and a kettle with tea and coffee. I was attending a work event and stayed for a week. Good location... More

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to excellent restaurants, shops, and the Hoan Kiem lake. It offers free internet in the room and reasonably good choices at breakfasts. Rooms are what one can expect in a three-star hotel which has been operated for over a decade: neither new nor run-down.

I had made a wrong choice to stay in this hotel. That's not good like what i think before i come here. The room is not so clean, the staff serves late without apology. I dont think i can recommend this hotel to my friends.

I stayed at the Saigon Hotel for 6 nights for business. Lodging arrangements were made for an entire group, so I could not change hotels, or I surely would have. My stay consisted of six of the most uncomfortable nights I have spent at any hotel--ever! The hotel is dirty (carpets are filthy, especially in the halls). The bathrooms are... More

I stayed here for a week during a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious with great air conditioning and the facilities were more than adequate. It's not luxury but more like a Vietnamese Holiday Inn. Breakfast was included and there was a small fruit basket and replenishment of bottled water in the fridge placed in the... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip and it was terrible- dirty towels and sheets were just one problem. Also the doors didn't lock!! The breakfast buffet was the only acceptable part. I changed hotels and stayed at the DeSyloia and paid a bit extra for absolute luxury!

Travelled to Hanoi for the first time for a Visa Application, so only needed a hotel close to the embassy, and centrally located for some of the other sights, and the Saigon hotel fit our requirements really well.
