I'm not sure how to start. I'd crashed here on an unsuccessful quest so I did not expect much. However, my experience is ... what can I say??? I guess "exclusive" is the right word. The price is decent for what I got, somewhat cheap when location & service included. The staff was extremely nice, attentive and seemed to tried... More

The hotel is located in the central district of the capital with a short walk to the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff and service are very friendly and helpful. The room is new, cozy, neat, and clean. Best value with best room and service!!! They are willing to assist you quickly. If you have any problem just give the... More

Really did not enjoy our stay here. The room was not very nice... The AC was broken and made so much noise all night. We told the lady at the front desk and she was very rude, accused me of lying and not knowing how to use the remote. The computer in the room didn't work, and the wifi was... More

Dear Mr/Ms. Ben M, Firstly, we are very sorry for making you feel bad. And thank you very much for your review. It makes us better. About the A/C, we checked it again and all the A/C now can run smoothly. The computer in the room would be fixed. About the receptionist, she will have retrained. Once again, Please accept... More

We have been traveling non stop for the last 4 months (hostels, camping, hotels, bungalos, guess houses, you name it), and this was the most disappointing... 18$ for a night, ok. Lights turned on and off from hallway/outside locked door, AC did not work - and even worst started making hissing/loud clicking and brink of exploding noises from 1am-6am, even... More

the Stars Hotel in hanoi was an excellent hotel and a great value. For the hotel itself was fantastic. Our stay at the Stars Hotel was very nice and everything went smoothly. All in all it was a wonderful trip, wonderful country and wonderful people. Both of us look forward to returning to Vietnam in the future.

Definetly one of the best hotels we had in Vietnam (March 2011)! We had a cute love nest at the fourth floor, tastefully furnished, clean, a small terasse with our own altar :-) and as it was directed to the back, almost quite. All that for 17$ including breakfast. If you are more demanding, could be that you will be... More

We were traveling during Tet so there was a lot of things closed or booked. The staff from the Stars hotel were extremely pleasant and even invited us to share their Tet dinner which is a great honor on Vietnam. They are located in a quieter street, considering the craziness of Hanoi, so other than the roosters we were able... More

Ended up leaving this place and going down the road where for $5 more the room was far superior. The photos are from 15 years ago, and nothing has been updated since. The computer was full of viruses and unusable, and the staff were pushy. Hanoi isnt the nicest part of Vietnam, so spend a bit more ($5-10) and go... More

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your review. Our hotel has been renovated 1 month ago. I am very looking forward to seeing you again. The computer updated the newest anti-virus for all the rooms. We always try our best to make customers happy with our service. Certainly, we are not so perfect that we do not get in... More

We had one of the cheaper rooms (we were put in there from another Guesthouse that was full - but at a discounted price) so for what we paid we were quite pleased. The place was pretty spacious and clean. There was a computer with internet available in the room and there was a kettle! The bathroom was quite small... More
