Stayed here for 5 nights in Mar 2012. Standard rooms are big enough to feel roomy for 2 people, the bed seems like a triple king size bed! Really awesome and comfortable bed. Hoabinh Palace hotel Great location in the old quarter , close to everything. Staff are very friendly and travel desk personnel are helpful and knowledgeable, room is large, clean and quiet, very nice view restaurant on the top floor. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. I shall definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in the Old Quarter surrounded by little shops selling anything from table mats, purses, footwear, Vietnamese coned hats that you see the locals wearing. The rooms and lobby were not at all what we expected based on the pictures. The staff was amazing and tried to accomadate all requests. The breakfast had little variety and wasn't very good.
