We stayed at the Lan Lan 1 (the 1 is important Lan Lan 2 is across the road) in May 2012 and really enjoyed it. Excellently sited close to all of the main attractions in the city (particularly the Ben Thanh market- 5 minutes away). The rooms were clean and spacious (although they could have done with more coat hangers),... More

we were a little sceptical when we booked for here due to very mixed reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The room was large with a great view over tree lined city streets and the Independence Palace, which was a very short walk away. Very clean and comfortable and a large and well appointed bathroom. Breakfast selection was varied and well... More

This has to be the cleanest hotel we have ever been to! Room was well appointed and for the price you couldn't get better in Saigon. In fact we asked to stay even longer! Breakfast was pretty good to, the only thing to let them down is some of the staff could be a little more friendly and smile, but... More

Spent just one night here and was impressed with everything. Hotel staff are friendly, the room, though small was immaculately presented and everything worked. Free Wi-Fi worked well, my room even had a window with a view of the Independence Palace. Location is great with shops, restaurants, bars and the markets literally on its doorstep. For the money, it's hard... More

With so many hotels in this region, it may not stand out from the rest Service needs improvement - you can get by asking basic questions in English after a few times. Requests for guests to surrender passport at check-in! This was an absolute NO NO for me and provided an unpleasant first impression of the place! And they only... More

This Hotel was quiet, our room nicely furnished and had a monster bed which was very comfortable. It is situated a short walk away from the bustling night market and if you want to get up early you can walk to the nearby park to watch the locals limbering up with Tai Chi or even join in yourself. The staff... More

I was so pleased with the hospitality and service I received from the staff at the Reception desk at this hotel, and can heartily recommend it. The room was nice, the location was good and close to the main attractions, breakast was rather limited but ok; but the staff's kindness and warmth (most notably the very professional man at Reception,... I stayed on LanLan 1 for 3 days and two nights. We arrived around 2 am in the morning and hotel staff were sleeping at the lobby. Same is true with other hotel like Kelly Hotel. Some are drinking in front of the hotel. Their location is good since it is ear Ben Thanh Market. Cleanliness is fine. Room is... More

I would definitely stay at the LL agin. The location is next to the sights including the central market and in a hotel neighborhood, but it is nestled against the peaceful park giving it a residential, rather noisy urban, feeling. The road is relatively narrow and intimate for central Saigon. This hotel's key to success is to spend money where... More

I agree with KatFantastico, the rooms were extremely noisy with the noise coming from inside the hotel not outside, we could hear people walking on the floor above us and could hear the people next door everytime they used the bathroom. I also agree about the staff having loud discussions outside in the hallways & starting to clean the room... More
