EXCELLENT cleanliness! Wow! However, don't expect any help or friendliness from the people who work here. On arrival, I asked, "May I see the room, please?" The desk woman said,"NO! You book online, you pay now!" Immediately, I was in a bad mood. I am not a high maintenance person, but I do expect some form of politeness. I would... More

I stayed in this hotel three times and I will come back again in a few weeks. One time I rocked up in the middle of the night and the reception was still open.  It was always clean, staff friendly, the owner speaks even German.    The beds are very comfortable. There is even a fridge and a TV in... More

-Rooms spacious and clean. The matress was very thin and toilet dripped through night. No hot water. -Staff friendly and helpful. The owner was lovely so maybe a new owner since the negatives?! -FREE breakfast, fresh crusty baguette and egg of choice. -Location is fab... near shops, markets, restaurants and attractions.

Very good guesthouse/hotel with awesome good and free breakfast. Good location in the backpacker area of Ho Chi Minh City and close to the best bakery ever: ABC bakery. There isn't that much to do in Ho Chi Minh, but the guesthouse/hotel offers good and cheap tours to Cu Chi Tunnels and places around Ho Chi Minh. We booked our... More

This hostel has a great value with good breakfast (delicious jam+baguette+eggs). It is strategic too, only 5 minutes walking to ben thanh market and near to the big street But there are things you should aware of : 1. If you book online, dont forget to bring your booking proof, pay only the rest amount (90%, because you pay 10%... More

Nga Hoang Hotel is not exactly a hotel but what made me stayed twice in this place was that it was the cheapest by far and their beds are very comfortable. The owner's mood can change within minutes but with praises in regards to the hostel, she will be really nice to you. Often there were times that she forgot... More

Great location in a quiet alley but strategically at the corner of Pham Ngu Lao and De Tham. Great breakfast - they're not stingy with the bread at all. Everybody seems to be getting travel services from them. Cheap water and beer. The rooms are immaculately clean. I stayed in a dorm with 9 beds and it was just nice.... More

Despite of what people saying about the owner, she's actually a friendly and nice woman. You may probably have issues with the pre-bookings because it seems that she's a little slow on those stuff. Just pop in and ask if she has available dorms and rooms. If none, oh well, there are probably 20 hostels within 500m you can still... More

My friend and I stayed at the 9-bed dorm ($6 per pax per night), which had a living area, open-top showers/toilet, and sinks - all within the room. Wifi could be accessed in the room as wel (we were in 101). Breakfast included. No massive issue with anything, we left our passports with her (this is the norm in Vietnam... More
