The hotel is located in the best part of the town and offers really cheap prices (8 usd). However the springs on the old matresses will kill you and the smell of the blankets will make you faint. We really believe they have nerver washed it. The manager of the hotel was really nice at the beginning but when we... More

We ended up staying a while in Huè over New Year while we waited for our visas to be renewed. Our first night at Halo was in an 8$ room that left a bit to be desired- the air con was leaking, and the damp towel placed beneath it made the room smell.. We decided to stick it for the... More

The hotel is really well located, close to everything. The room was Ok. We paid USD10, that I think is to much for what they offer, but there wasn´t anything cheaper. Next door hotel is worst. The room is clean and the staff nice. The matress is extremly old, and I still have pain in my body because of it.... More

We stayed for two nights in the quiet season for travelling in Vietnam so we had a lot of people almost begging for us to go to their hotel as soon as we stepped on the train in Hue. Halo was on our list of possible guesthouse/hotels so we headed there. The owner was very friendly and always smiling and... More

My partner and I stayed in a $8 room. The bed was hard, and there was no window. When we stayed it rained alot, thus the room ended up smelling alot due to the no window. The room itself had mould on the wall also. Wifi was only in the lobby. We only ended up staying the one day as... More

We were forced to stay in Hue since no bused left to HoiAn in the evening. After a while we went to the Halo Guest House which is loated in the backpackers alley and found a great double room for just 10 Dollar. We even had the possibility to check the rooms beforehand. The receptionist was very nice and helpful... More

Arrived at this hotel and were happy enough with the size of the room. Happy to see a bath in the bathroom. However we left the next morning. The air con was very loud. The bed was rock hard. The pillows were tiny. Amenities in the hotel were not working and the hotel in the morning is very noisy. The... More

We have been travelling for five months and this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. The woman running it was super friendly. Stayed here for one night on the way to Hanoi. The rooms are very big and clean. We payed 10USD for a double bed room and ensuite bathroom. Had air-con, tv (with two channels), bath and good shower. There was also a nice balcony overlooking the city streets where we had a picnic dinner. Lumpy beds, but I slept okay,... More
