Although the hotel doesn't look much (in fact it look pretty awful from the outside!), and I don't know what the rooms are like, the Senja Lounge Restaurant on the ground floor is very good and extremely popular with expats living in Bandar. Very much a SOP hotel. Far from any ammenities like malls (not that there is a lot of malls in Brunei to begin with) or attractions. This hotel has taken a dive in the last year or so. The rooms are tired and drab, the aircons are old and noisy and cannot be adjusted or set. The style is of the old 1970's Holiday Inns and the whole place needs a facelift. Even the shops that were in the lobby have closed down. Not recommended except... More

My mother and I stayed 6 nights at this excellent hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There were 4 restaurants and the one just off the lobby allowed us to bring our own wine.
